That it was a pink ship helped in defeating the threatening nature of the ship. From mast to waterline, and from bow to aft, the entire ship was a shade of pink, with the guns a darker shade of rose. adorning the portholes were lace curtains. Even the flag was pink, with flowers instead of crossbones.
And standing by the wheel was what looked to be the capatain, if if one were to tell by the amount of things he was wearing. A wide-brimmed pink hat with a large pink feather, pink great-coat, pink vest and pink pants. And then there was the lace. Instead of the slight lace trimming that one might appear on a woman's blouse, there was a huge puff of lace coming out from under his coat. All this on a slight man with grey hair and a mustache.
"Ahoy there!" the capatain called, "You appear to have not seen us coming!"
"Yeah, like we expected a giant pink boat ta come out of nowhere!" Ranma yelled back."
"Of course not! No one expects the dread pirate Swishbuckle!"
"'Dread?' You?"
"Yes! Our chief weapon is suprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... Our two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... Our *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency..."
One of the pirates came over to his leader. "Somethin' wrong cap'n?"
"No, no. I'll get it. Just letme try again. Ahem..."
"You don't really have to," the pigtailed boy told him.
"I don't?"
"Nah."
"Then you're properly afraid and quaking in your boots and all that?"
"Uh... yeah..."
"Oh, good then. You just wouldn't know how hard it is to say that. Me crew and I do so hate having to go over it every time."
"Okay..."
"I do have to do it, you know. Otherwise me reputation for being the most dreaded pirate in the north Atlantic would be ruined."
"Umm... I don't know how ta tell ya this, but..."
"What is it?"
"Last I checked, we were in the East China Sea..."
"Are you sure about that?"
"Yes..."
"That would not be anyplace near Essex, now would it?"
"Where the heck's that?"
Swishbuckle turned to the pirate standing next to him. "Pinstripe, did you happen to see us head to China?"
"No, Cap'n. Nothin' much 'xcept the big island with all that snow a while back."
"It did get chilly for a while there..."
The crew of the 'borrowed' smuggling boat just watched them talk and wondered where such idiots could come from. Ranma looked at what he had to deal with and came to a decision. Which was to:
