"They're French, sir, you can't win a taunting match with them," advised Pinstripe. "They've raised the whole 'snooty' thing to a High Art - they're even better than the Colonists at that sort of thing."
"They call themselves Americans now, after that Italian fellow," tossed in Doc as he continued to read a book and otherwise ignore the usual shenanigans.
"Wot! When did they start doing that? Damn uppity Colonials. Just because they won that war they've got to start putting on the airs." Swishbuckle frowned mightily.
"Sir, there's that shipful of killer clowns again," pointed out the lookout.
"And what's with the silly outfits on those fellows?" Swishbuckle asked of everyone in listening range. "We'll just sing at them again and they'll go attack those German fellows just to get away from us again."
Ranma gave a sigh of relief as the pirate ship faded away into the fog. "Well, that's a relief."
"Land ho," called out Usagi.
"Land?" Ranma asked just before there was the sound of their ship running aground.
