The spell was indeed hideously complex. There was simply no denying it.
"Saotome, Do we have any powdered hen's teeth?"
"My kitchen..."
"I don't think so. Baking powder should work just as well though. How about turtle hair?"
"My kitchen..."
"No, but we could subistitute panda hair instead."
"My kitchen!"
*KATHOOM*
"Seems that the heat was on a bit too high Tendo."
Kasumi snapped. Racing to the dojo she grabbed her mother's naginata from the wall and prepared to skewer the infidels that dared violate her sanctum. She never actually got the chance as the sight of an enraged, naginata-wielding Kasumi was enough to put the fathers into flight.
Taking several deep breaths she smiled.
"My that was cathartic," she said, placing the naginata next to the door, it might be useful to keep that around. Besides, it reminded her of her mother.
*****
Out in the living room Soun was looking glum.
"Well Saotome, what now?"
Genma gave a knowing smile. "It just so happens that I managed to grab the fruits of our labours on the way out," he said, holding up a pot of something that looked suspiciously like Plutonium-240.
"Brilliant Saotome! Now we just have to give this to your ingrate son and the schools will be united! Oh happy day!"
With that the two men started hunting down Ranma intent on giving him the half-done, incorrectly prepared love potion.
