"Saotome's dating a famous musician? Who? Michiru Kaioh!?! Why, that lucky bastard!"
Some, as expected, were the usual misunderstandings concerning Ranma Saotome.
"Did you hear? Did you hear? Ranma finally got himself hitched yesterday! They went up to the-"
"-got a magic mirror that would make you hot-to-trot for whosesoever reflection you see. If you know what I mean."
"It couldn't have been Akane that got married. She spent the night with us studying for the test today."
"-kissed each other right in front of my dad and his friends. Pop snorted beer out of his nose!"
"-were walking out of that antique shop in the corner of Shibuya and Toyazawa."
"They were actually skipping as they left that karaoke bar while holding hands. Nobody said a word. It was so quiet that a pin could have dropped and you would hear it."
Some of it were actually not that far off in their retelling of the situation.
"-Tendo and Mr. Saotome finally came out of the closet yesterday. I always knew there was something funny with that family."
"He's a giant chickent, I tell you! A giant chicken!"
"-of them are probably lesbians! That's why he got his son cursed, so his lover's daughters would have somebody-"
"No, you got it all wrong! Ranma likes guys like his dad. That's why he turns into a girl, so he could hide his sick perversions in plain sight."
"Oh, Ranma-sama! How horrible that your father raised you so! Don't worry, my love for you will change you back to your proper place!"
"No! I don't believe it! My Ranchan is NOT gay! I refuse to believe it!"
And some of them... some of them went way out there.
