Dark suited, sunglass wearing, figures stepped forward.
"This is my lawyer, Mister Shyster. He'll handle the closing," said Emi with a smirk.
Mister Shyster smiled, revealing teeth that would have done a vampire credit. Pulling paperwork out of his briefcase, he set them before Soun Tendo with a pen. "As you can see this 220 page agreement is merely a legal contract. For you to sign over ownership and all claims thereof (past, present, and future) of one (1) Ranma Saotome to the firm that I happen to be representing. In return for which your past debts are... dropped, with an additional one million yen in the balance."
"I don't have my hanko (legal signature stamp) handy," complained Soun.
A thug presented it to Mister Tendo.
"Well, I guess, it seems in order," said Soun, taking up the pen and scratching out his name before picking up the stamp to make it legal. "Odd red ink."
Mister Shyster smiled again. "I'm a big respecter of tradition."
"Huh?!" said a thoroughly confused Ranma.
[He's my son!] A panda sign read, presented by (oddly enough) a panda.
Mister Shyster looked over at the panda.
