Ranma was about to jump off the rooftop, track down that old man and get some answers, when suddenly it felt like someone had shoved a red hot poker into her skull. Screaming in pain, she fell to her knees, clutching at her head.
Bit by bit, she felt memories sinking in, fighting against those that was already there. Her name was Skylancer. She was a minicon, a human sized race of Transformers from the planet Cybertron. She grew up in village D10 in the Minicon Sector. Until the day the Decepticons came.
Giant Tranformers far more powerful then the Minicons, they had kidnapped virtually every minicon on the planet for their plans of conquest, after discovering that it was possible to combine a minicon and one of their larger counterparts, granting the larger transformer seemingly limitless power.
Using the minicons as weapons, the Decepticons defeated the Autobots and began to take control of Cybertron, but then virtually all the Minicons escaped in a starship, leaving their world and the slavery behind. Until their ship had crashed on Earth, leaving them offline until something had reactivated them, bringing the Decpticons and Autobots here, seeking their power.
But while these memories surged through her brain, her own memories fought back. He was Ranma Saotome, the son of Genma and Nodoka Saotome, trained to be the greatest martial artist the world had ever seen. Cursed at Jusenkyo, engaged to countless girls, living a life that many would describe as insane.
And now, more then his manhood was on the line. His very identidy was at stake, under threat of being washed away by the Transformer. He couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't!
"Now why would I want to destroy you?" a voice in her mind asked.
"Skylancer?" Ranma gasped, as the pain in her head began to lessen.
"That's right, it's me," she replied. "Look, I'm sorry, I wouldn't ask this of anyone if I had any choice in the matter. But I think whatever that wizard did, you'll be destroyed unless we work together."
"Work together? Y'mean, become one person?" The pain seemed to have faded while she was talking to the minicon, and Ranma was able to get to her feet as she considered her options.
"Yes. I know it's not what you wanted, but-"
"It's probalby our only real choice." Ranma thought about it for a few minutes, then came to a decision.
