Armada Japan: Union [Episode 32923]

by Matrix Dragon

"So, how do we do this?" Ranma asked.

"If my theory's right... and I hope it is... like this."

Ranma yelped at a sudden sting in her head... and then it was over. She looked down at her hands, still made of cybertron alloys, yet now as familar as if she'd worn them her entire life. And she had. Or at least, one of those lives.

She was Ranma Saotome. She was Skylancer. She was herself. The minicon smiled, then tried something. With the familar buzz-crunch of transformation, she felt her bosy changing. As it ended, she looked down at her hands again, and laughed at the sight of flesh on them again, along with the familar chinese shirt.

She caught sight of her reflection in a skylight, and paused for a moment to look over her appearance. Sure enough, she looked excatly like she did this morning, right down to her pigtail. "I never thought I'd be happy to see you again," she said to the pigtailed girl. "Still, it looks like we're together for the duration. And the funny thing is, I don't really mind. But then, I've spent my entire life as Skylancer female. That must be why I'm comfortable like this." She smiled again. "Not to mention acting all thoughtful. That's something I've never done as Ranma."

Briefly, she wondered what the time was, then groaned as her internal clock told her 3:45pm. "Ucchan's present!" she yelled as she ran for the edge of the rooftop, transforming back to Skylancer as she did so. the Minicon jumped off the edge, and with the usual buzz-crunch of transformation, the tiny fighter jet flew back towards Nerima.

Thrust considered the city of Toyko in the distance. Sensors had detected an energon power source somewhere in the city, leading to the possibility of another minicon that could be put to good use.

Thrust was a Decepticon that had joined after Megatron had defeated the Autobots and seized power. As such, he had never had access to a minicon until recently, when he had captured Inferno. This meant that many of the rebels on Cybertron were able to hold their own against him, and that it was impossible for him to rise very far up the ranks. Megatron and his people held those posistions and had no intentions of letting them go.

Now though, his power was greatly increased. The Jet Fighter fully intended to take advantage of this fact, starting with resolving a few old grudges. "Our presense should bring some of the Autobots here quickly enough," he said. "With our minicons, we should be able to dispose of them for good."

"What'll Megatron think of this?" the other Decepticon asked. Thrust looked back at him, a Seeker by the name of Thundercracker. Built to the same configuration as Starscream, Thundercracker was a good soldier, steadfast and dependable - which meant he would never rise far in the ranks of the Decepticons. Still, he had his uses.

"Just because we have a few minicons, it does not mean that we are any less loyal to Megatron," Thrust replied. "He'll understand that we are loyal to him." For now, he didn't add as the pair transformed and headed towards the city. And he doubted Thundercracker would guess his true intentions.

Ranma hummed a happy tune to herself as she walked towards the dojo, the sun beginning to set in the distance. She'd gotten Ukyo a good present, managed to get the hang of this Ranma/Skylancer thing, and had even managed to avoid running into Ryouga as he searched Nerima for something.

However, that mood soured slightly as she walked through the gates, only to see her father coming at her from the side. Easily dodging his grab, she landed a short distance away, an annoyed look on her face. "What are you up to this time father?" she asked.

"Doing what's best for you!" came the somewhat predictable response as Genma came at her again. She blocked his first few blows then leapt away, tossing her bag next to the door, before charging in for a counter-attack. As she did however, she noticed Soun trying to sneak up behind her. On top of that, she saw as she leapt away again, he was holding rope in one hand and what looked like some bottle of glowing liquid in the other.

Oh great, they've got some sort of magic potion again, she realized. I'd rather deal with Decepticons then drink that!
