"Ah, there was once a fanatical religious cult that worshipped a turtle god. And at the center of their religious services was the turtle god: Namusan Sapou. The god would even feast on young virgins as snacks.." Seta pointed to a stone statue of a turtle on a large altar.
"Turtle worshippers?" Usagi said fearfully, her recent experiences making her a little nervous about turtles.
"Yes, it is said that the giant turtle known as the Desert Guardian (in local legends it is said that he sucks the brains out of young girls foolish enough to go abroad at night) is a descendent of that very Namusan Sapou!" Seta gestured dramatically with a cigarette. "If I can find evidence of such a thing, it will prove my theories of the ancient turtle cult being fairly widespread - possibly even part of an ancient civilization of turtles!"
"Did they know any martial arts?" Ranma asked inevitably.
"Yes, the ancient Turtle Style Of Fighting." Seta gestured towards a desk. "I've uncovered ancient writings but have yet to figure out the details even though I've copied down the drawings exactly."
Zip!
Ranma began looking over the drawings. Secret martial arts of a forgotten cult? NOW things were getting interesting!
