"Hold it right there!"
Both Ranma and Sailor Mars groaned.
Sailor Pluto strode forth. "The Mercury Knight armor was a failed prototype. Whoever you are, you will not succeed in whatever your foul plan is!"
Sailor Saturn stood nearby, clearly alarmed at the two popsicles that were her adoptive parents.
Sailors Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter arrived.
"NIISAN!" Sailor Mercury called out in delight, rushing forward.
Huh? Ranma asked Symbiont.
"What?!" Pluto said, her hair sticking up at odd angles all of a sudden.
"WHAT?!" exclaimed Moon, Venus, and Jupiter.
"What?!" Mars echoed.
"What?!" mouthed Sailor Uranus from within her icy cocoon.
Let me handle this, the Symbiont said to Ranma silently. "Hi Crystal. Long time no see."
Pluto had gone from righteous anger to bewildered to keeling over in shock.
This was enough to leave all of the other Senshi gaping.
It didn't last long, Pluto was up in a heartbeat. "You can't be Crystal's brother! He died from the Invincible Shadow attack when they were field testing... the... mercury knight armor..." thunk!
"She's down again," noted Saturn, still trying to figure out if the life-sized action figure in cobalt blue and chrome was a bad guy or not. She really hated coming into these things without a clearcut idea of who the bad guy was.
Ami's smile was nearly enough to throw off sparks. She had a new brother! This was thoroughly neat!
What are they going to say when it turns out you aren't her brother? Ranma sent.
Who says I'm not? returned Symbiont. While it's true that I do not remember being reincarnated, I had to come from somewhere. Add to this that I somehow intuited the password for the Mercury Computer. Logically, it should have taken me five seconds and over ten thousand alphanumeric combinations to access it. I did it in three.
Pluto slowly got up. "This can't be. You have to be an imposter. Serenity couldn't have reincarnated you."
tink tink tink Seeing that there wasn't going to be a fight immediately, Saturn was checking the ice surrounding Neptune by tapping it lightly with her glaive.
"Perhaps. Perhaps not," said Symbiont. "I may be Turquoize, but reincarnated by another method. Perhaps I am not and mistaken. I am Symbiont in this life. I would prefer being a friend and ally - especially now that I have a sister."
"A 'symbiont'?" Mercury asked, knowing what the term meant.
"Yes. As threat levels are dropping, I will return to stasis and you can discuss things with Host." The armor seemed to melt into the figure of a boy.
clank clank clank! Hotaru tried beating on the ice with her Silence Glaive.
"Uhm, hi. I'm Ranma Saotome. Errr. Sorry about this," said Ranma as he noticed the damage to the shrine yard. Maybe he should have practiced katas elsewhere.
Ami stared. Her brother was an absolute HUNK! Or possessing an absolute hunk!
Hotaru tried to catch her breath and stared at Ami's brother. "Wow!"
Slowly, Minako reached out and gave a strong grip to Ami's shoulder. "Mercury. Introduce me to your brother. Now please."
"Hi, I'm Sailor Jupiter! Do you like cookies?!" Jupiter's eyes were half-glazed over. "Do you mind if I call you sempai?"
CLANK! CLANK! CLANK! Saturn tried again to break the ice covering Neptune, all the while wishing she could talk to her new boyfriend. Err. The new friend of the Senshi! Yeah, that's right!
"Hi! I'm Sailor Mars! What's your birthdate? Blood type?" Had to have more information to try doing a horoscope or compatibility check.
Sailor Moon tried not to drool.
