"WHAT?!" exclaimed Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus. This was a day full of surprises.
"..." went Sailor Saturn as she tried to wrap her mind around the concept. Then shrugged as she realized it fit her chaotic life. She resumed her examination of the ice prisons.
"What?!" mouthed Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. That was all they could really do anyways. Well, they could blink, but that would mean they'd miss out on what was going on.
"..." was the thoughts of Ranma. He didn't just hear what he thought he just heard, did he? With an uncharacteristic calm about him, he walked out of the huddle of shocked Sailor Senshi surrounding him and stopped in front of Sailor Pluto.
"Excuse me," began Ranma, "Could you repeat that again? Please?" It was a polite and intelligent request for information. Poor Ranma must have been shocked smart. "I'm not sure I heard you correctly." Yep, the poor boy's higher functions (his conscious personality) must be offline; subconscious is handling everything.
"Nononononono..." were the only things coming out of Sailor Pluto's mouth. In her case, she had been shocked stupid. Said too much, paradox, changing the past, killing your parents when they were young, all these were the thoughts running through Sailor Pluto's head.
"Snap out of it!" yelled Ranma, as he shook the girl. What do you know; he was coming out of it. A pity.
"Father?" whispered Sailor Pluto. Ranma froze. "I had this awful dream. I dreamt I just tried to kill you in the past, when you met Mother for the first time." Several more gasps came after _that_ pronouncement. Louder ones, enough to shock Sailor Pluto back to her senses. "I, what? Father? It's not a dream? I, um, ooops?"
No further outbursts from the peanut gallery were heard after that last comment from Sailor Pluto. The Sailor Senshi, those frozen in shock and those frozen in ice, both of these groups didn't say much of anything else. It might have had to do with the fact that they were all out cold. One way or the other. Their hearts couldn't take it anymore and went on strike, due to all the revelations they got back to back. Their conscious minds quickly followed.
Ranma's face was in contortions. He'd start to say something, then would change his mind. Then he'd change it again. The cycle continued. Finally, he started stuttering out something.
"Sailor Pluto... I... am your Father?" he ventured. Sailor Pluto nodded. "NNNNNNOOOOOOoooooo- THUD!" Ranma thought Symbiont had done the smart thing by going into stasis after the battles. He was going to join him now.
"..." went Sailor Pluto. Her father had fainted on her. Literally on her. She was supporting his unconscious form, the only thing propping him upright. The other Sailor Senshi seemed to be out of it as well. This was just not her day.
