[Episode 3394] [Episode 3394]...But as they got ready to move, something fast and orange plodded on Ranma's head, sending his face plummeting into the roof tiles. Ukyo looked towards the source, but quickly changed her attention as she heard multiple men and women below, shouting.
"Hey, you brat! How dare you do that to my house?!"
"Get back here and fix my hedges, kid!"
"Those were my best sheets!"
"You better pay for all that damage you did!"
And as Ukyo turned her attention back to the source of Ranma's face-plant, she noticed it was a young, blond-haired kid wearing an orange jumpsuit that was blue at the shoulders and a forehead protector with an abstract leaf on the metal. He was carrying a paintbrush and paint can, along with hedgeclippers and a hammer at his side. He simply grinned mischeiviously at the people below as he stood perfectly on a weathervane, his balance tilting him in no direction whatsoever.
"You're just jealous because you don't have the guts to do what I did!" he shouted back at them. "Losers! Wanna-bes!" He laughed, and Ukyo narrowed her eyes as she put her hand on the spatulas at her waist.
"How dare you do that to my dear Ranchan?!" she shouted as she threw them at the boy, who, in a surprising display of speed, dropped the paint can in his left hand and drew a ninja knife, or kunai, and deflected them all with ease as he stuck out his tongue at her.
"Not my fault his big head was in my way!" the kid shouted back at her. "He should learn to keep clear when someone's going past!" Ukyo could feel her anger rising at this kid who dared show no respect to her and the adults below.
"...And you should learn to shut your mouth, kid," Ukyo heard a voice next to her say. She turned her head to notice Ranma getting to his feet, wiping bits of tiling from his forehead and face. "...It just might get you hurt!" Ranma charged the kid, getting ready to pummel him, but as he struck, he felt his fist sting slightly as it hit something hard, although it did break. He noticed it was a log, positioned right where the kid was standing.
"You have no talent, do you?" Ranma heard the kid ask from behind him. He turned to notice the kid was standing behind him, his arms crossed as he grinned at him, taunting him.
"You little brat! You won't be so confident after I beat the hell out of you!" he shouted as he charged the kid. But he suddenly stopped as he heard a man's voice.
"Come on Naruto, stop picking on the poor guy," the voice said. Ranma looked down below where the voice originated and he saw an older man with long, white hair and wearing a very eccentric outfit of red and olive green. He simply looked at him awkwardly as the blonde haired kid pouted and jumped down from the roof.
"All right," he said in slight disdain. "I was just bored since you were nowhere to be found, pervy sage..." Ranma raised an eyebrow as he heard the kid call the old man 'pervy sage', hoping that they wouldn't have to deal with another super-perv.
"...By the way, pervy-sage," the kid said as he glared at the man. "...Where were you...?" The 'pervy-sage' stuttered slightly and spoke nervously.
"I... I was just visiting an old friend who lives around here," he said. "He happens to be a great martial artist, and I was telling him that we'd be around for a while." He then coughed, as if hiding something. Ranma simply stared on in annoyance, knowing that an old friend of a pervert who happened to be a 'great martial artist' could only be one person... the old freak, Happousai.
"R-Really?!" the kid shouted in glee. "A great martial artist?! Am I gonna be training with him too while we're here?!" Ranma actually felt sorry for the kid if he was going to be trained by the old freak...
"You could say that, Naruto," said the 'pervy-sage'. "He'll be teaching you how to excel in close-range combat... in exchange for something special." Sighing, Ranma decided to jump down and join in as the people walked away in annoyance, Ukyo following him.
"Hey, you wouldn't happen to be talking about a freak midget named Happousai, would you?" he asked.
"Oh ho, so you know him then?" asked the pervy-sage. "Good, good! This'll help us meet back up with him quicker now, if you, a friend of his, happen to know where he lives!"
"I'm not really what you'd consider a 'friend', old man," said Ranma. "But he lives with me and my family and friends back at-" he stopped abruptly as he felt Ukyo tugging at his shirt. "Huh? What is it, Ukyo?"
"...Ranchan. he need to get back to class soon." Ukyo said, pointing at the nearby clock on a building. His face beginning to show stress and fear, he grabbed Ukyo's wrist and bolted for school, hoping they'd make it back in time...
