"What's he trying to counteract?" Rei asked.

Josh closed his eyes and sighed. "Cuteness."

The room fell silent.

"Pardon?" Minako asked incredulously.

Josh sighed again. "The last world to be conquered had magical girl defenders as well. They were somewhat like you all, except. . . More frills, more pink, more lace, more flowers. . . Well they weren't just cute, they were so saturated with cuteness that they practically oozed it their surroundings wherever they went.

"Despite that, they were seriously tough. I understand that encounters with them left one platoon with a crippling fear of teddy bears. Ultimately though, the Overlord managed to steal their power and use it against them. However that power, turns out to be just as saturated with cuteness, and as a result, everything he does is twisted in a cute way."

"And he believes this can be changed by something in this universe?" Ami asked.

"Yeah."

• They decide that they need to bring the Outer Senshi in on this.
• Ami starts trying to figure out what the counter for the cuteness effect could be (It could make a good bargaining chip she reasons)
• Josh tries to set up a meeting between the Senshi and the leaders of his rebel group.
• One of the overlord's spy's has observed the meeting and reports back.
• Something Else
