Usagi blinked and looked at the robed figure. "The Overlord?"
With a sigh he nodded. "You might want to contact your friends for this."
Usagi glanced at the rest of the inner Senshi, all of who were looking at the newcomer. "So, why don't you tell us about that big lord guy you had mentioned. . . Um, what was your name again?"
"Jshab-Naneth-ut-satrlundar. Josh will do."
"And would you mind loosing the cloak so we can see you?" Venus asked.
"Oh! Sorry." Josh responded, pushing back the top of his cape to reveal his face. "This ok?"
"Yeah. . ." Makoto commented looking at his somewhat bishonen features, made more exotic by the slight points to his ears, the deep tan to the skin, and the shimmering blue pattern that wound up his right cheek to curve over his eye.
"Right." Josh closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "The Overlord is an immortal magus of incredible skill. Several centuries past he conquered his home world, then began using his mastery of dimensional gates to expand his empire to first one world then another. Once a world is conquered he tends to be a fairly hands off ruler, allowing a good bit of autonomy as long as they pay a regular tribute and maintain and outfit an army for him to command. Oh and as long as they don't interfere with the merchants."
"Merchants?" Ami asked.
"Well every world is connected to all the other worlds through a series of worldgates he builds, and he made it a policy to allow trading from world to world with very few limits. Though there are always rumors that he has the traders enchanted so he knows everything they see and hear."
"And he's planning to invade us next, is he?"
Josh nodded. "Yeah. . ."
