"I'm looking for Ranma Saotome," said the lithe-looking young man. "He's supposed to have been able to beat Saffron, some girl named Nabiki Tendo has been selling information on him, calling him 'the God Killer'. I'm looking to see how good he actually is."
"Hey. I'm Ranma Saotome," said Ranma.
"Hurry up Ranma," said Akane, irritatedly. "We're going to be late!"
"Uhm, go ahead you two. I'm looking for the real Ranma Saotome," said the guy, seeming to look everywhere around him. "Some unbeatable warrior with the strength of ten, who has killed a god. He must be terribly well hidden or this was a wild goose chase."
Ranma began to frown. "Hey. I said that I'm Ranma!"
The stranger looked up and down Ranma. "Get serious, will you? If you don't know where he is just say so."
"Ain't you listening? I'm the one who took down Saffron," Ranma declared.
"You? Don't make me laugh," the stranger gave Ranma a funny glance. "You don't have half the power necessary to beat Saffron."
"Oh yeah?" Ranma slid into an offensive stance. "Ya wanna try something?"
"Yeah, he's the real Ranma Saotome, he's never been beaten. Finish the fight and get to class, Ranma!" Akane called out as she started inside.
"You?" The stranger pointed. "You're the unbeatable god-killing Ranma Saotome?! Zeus' brass balls, did I ever get gypped."
"Oh, I don't see where you're special, buddy!" Ranma said, and followed it up with a punch-kick-punch combo that was aimed just an inch away from the stranger. Who didn't flinch.
"I hate beating up weaklings," said the stranger, "but I guess I'll have to make an exception."
"Yeah, right. Gotta name to go with the attitude?" Ranma asked, hoping that this would turn out to be a famous fighter.
