Oval paused suddenly, looking up at the roof. That felt like some kind of...
A moment later, the entire upper half of the building was ripped clean off, revealing the rather ugly face of Demolisher. "Hey boss, I found him!"
"Yeah right!" Oval yelled back in reply, transforming to vehicle mode as he raced out the back door. "Now, all you have to do is catch me. "Backtrack, Spiral, where the slag are you?"
"Heading the other way, what else?" Spiral replied. "Cyclonus is right behind us. Look, see if you can shake your tail, and we'll met up later."
"Great," Oval muttered as Demolisher transformed and gave chase. "Good luck guys." He raced along the footpath, honking his horn and mostly telling people to get the hell out of his way. Demolisher wasn't nearly as subtle, racing down the middle of the street, knocking cars out of his path with sheer force. Soon enough, people were fleeing in every direction, hoping to outrun what sounded like one of those monster attacks they'd heard about on the news.
Thinking fast as he came towards an intersection, Oval transformed, caught the lampost in mid-air, spun himself around, then transformed back to vehicle mode and raced back the way he came. Treads screeching against the road, Demolisher tried to turn around and follow him, but wasted a lot of time in breaking his forward momentium. By that time, Oval had ducked down an alleyway.
"Now where's that sewer cover?" he muttered to himself. He'd seen one somewhere in this alley back when he first scouted out the place.
"Oval." The minicon paused, glancing back at where the voice came from. His optics widened as he recognised the green-haired woman in the Sailor Fuku. "Pluto?" he said. "You're alive?"
"It's been a while old friend," she replied. "After Beryl took Earth, I feared you were dead."
"Only offline," he replied. "She couldn't turn us to her cause, so she tried to destroy us." He looked up, worry flickering over his face. "Look out!"
"Hah!" Demolisher laughed as he towered above the pair. "Thought you could hide from me, didja?"
"Dead Scream," Pluto said, aiming her staff. Before the Decepticon could react, the Senshi's attack blasted him up into the air several hundred metres, before dropping him back to Earth rather painfully.
"Very nice," Oval noted.
"Thank you, I try," Pluto replied. "We should get out of here. There are other Decepticons in the area besides that fool."
"Wait, what about Backtrack and Spiral?" Oval asked. "They're here too."
"Cyclonus has Backtrack I'm afraid, but as for Spiral..." Pluto smiled in a rather unpleasant way. "Let's just say his pursuer is in for a very big surprise."

Spiral was a rather experienced fighter. He was a Knight of Serentity, and had seen battle against countless threats of that era. But against a Decepticon... He knew that he couldn't fight it alone, and since Backtrack was caught by Cyclonus, he had no choice but to run.
"Give it up little minicon!" Starscream laughed as he flew close behind. "There's no way that you can escape me."
Just keep talking you arrogant fool, Spiral thought to himself. Give me the chance I need to escape.
He never found out if Starscream would give him that chance, as the air ahead of them first began to ripple like water, then beginning to glow, in a way that looked a lot like a Warp portal of some sort. A moment later, a massive red wolf transformer leaped out of the portal, colliding with Starscream and sending him crashing into the ground.
Spiral skidded to a halt and trasformed, watching as the wolf clawed at Starscreams plane form, ripping massive chunks of armor from his body. Screaming, the Decepticon transformed and kicked the beast off.
The wolf transformed in midair, taking on a more humanoid configuration. "You've got two choices Decepticon, leave or be destroyed," it declared.
"And who in the galaxy are you?" Starscream demanded, drawing his sword.
"I am Rayearth of the Defendions, partner of the Magic Knight of Fire." Spiral wondered what that meant, but he noticed that the large Transformer had a new symbol on his left shoulder. It was a stylised robot head like both the Autobots and Decepticons, but it was a dark blue in color. Behind Rayearth, the portal sprang to life again, and two more robots, one blue and one green, stepped out. "You are outgunned Decepticon. All three of us have our powers boosted by a Minicon, one that lends us their power willing. No matter how much you steal, you can not match us. Leave this place."
Starscream glared at the trio for a moment, before admitting defeat and taking to the air. Rayearth nodded, then looked down at Spiral. "Are you alright Spiral?" he asked.
"Thanks to you guys," the minicon admitted. "But what about Backtrack? Cyclonus grabbed him just before you got here. We need to-"
"I'm sorry, but they're already a good distance from here," the blue Defendion said. "We can't rescue him now, but we will soon. I promise you that."
Spiral was silent for a moment, then nodded. While he didn't excatly like ths, that probably was the best option for the time being.
The warp portal sprang to life again, and Pluto and Oval stepped out. "Hello Spiral," Pluto said calmly. "The commander of the Queens Guard sends his greetings."
"Heh, I should have known you'd be around," Spiral laughed. "So, what've you got planned this time?"
"What else?" Setsuna asked. "War."
