"Hey, isn't that Skylancer on the screen?" A medium build, green minicon mentioned to his companions.
"Backtrack, what are you babbling about. I've been looking for her and I haven't seen nosecone or tailfin of her anywhere." A blue minicon came into view. He had to check, even if it was another trick or dead end.
"Calm down Spiral, you can be sure that she can take care of herself. She was a good friend, both before, during and after our capture by the decepticons." Oval tried to reassure her friend and teammate. She was a survivor, just like them.
"Not much you can do Oval, Spiral here still has a crush on poor Skylancer for the longest time. Too bad there's no evidence that your anything more than a friend to her." Backtrack turned from the television they had setup in their hideout. He was worried about her too, but he had confidence in her abilities to stay out of the decepticons clutches.
Spiral was currently trying to decide between going to find Skylancer and getting back at His friend for revealing that little tidbit he had thought was a secret.
"Hate to break it to you, but the only one out of the four of us that didn't know you had that crush, was the fembot herself. Did you really think Backtrack and I wouldn't notice?"
Spiral had the good grace to look embarrassed. "I had kind of hoped that the two of you would have thought you were kinda imagining things. Err...heh heh." By now he was looking at the floor and scratching the back of his head.
"Look at that Oval, big tough Spiral's got a big soft spot." And with that, Backtrack started laughing his skid plate off.
Oval was currently looking back and forth between her comrades. One the one side, Backtrack was now on the floor, still laughing like he had just caused a couple decepticreeps to crash into each other, taking them out of action for a while. One the other hand, Spiral was slowly reaching his boiling point and would blow-up probably ruining their safe house......but only while he was chasing Backtrack and there was a good chance he would come real close to slagging Backtrack while he was at it.
Coming to a quick decision, get them outside before the place got damaged. "Hey, Backtrack. I would suggest you get going while the gettings good."
Gaining Control of himself after a little effort. He turned to Oval to ask why, when he saw an angry Spiral and made tracks. Spiral was right on his tailpipe the whole way.
Oval looked at the departing figures and sighed. "I wish those two would act their age."
