Moon sighed softly. "Beryl and Mistress 9 are very smart, Kasumi-sama. They know what your sisters want, and how to trick them into giving them what they want. They probably came up with something for them to wish for that they could twist into what they wanted."
Kasumi sighed, looking around the dingy interior of the abandoned building where she'd found the ring. She'd been practicing her martial arts, the family's naginata style, in the empty parking lot, and the gleam of light from the window beckoned her to it. Once inside, the ring sat there, gleaming spotlessly in the dust. She knew it wasn't hers, but it looked so pretty, and it was sitting there all alone... and what a surprise, to meet Moon-hime who lived in it!
"How can we free them, then, Moon-hime?" she asked the genie. Akane and Nabiki were making so much trouble, so many messes. It would take her forever to clean them all up.
"We have to catch them while they're normal, when the genies aren't in control, and get them to take off the rings. It's the only way... I'm not powerful enough to make them leave the poor girls, and the ring won't come off unless the wearer takes it off willingly."
That seemed to make sense to Kasumi, although she wondered for a moment why Moon's ring would have been left behind here if it would never fall off someone's finger. It didn't seem to matter, though, so she decided it would be rude to pry. "We'll just have to try, then, Moon-hime, and do our best for them..."

Meanwhile, a few blocks away, two lovely young ladies in black wandered slowly down the streets. The teenaged boy walking behind them grinned, savoring the delectable sight laid out before him. Saturn and Mercury both looked to be about fifteen, now, dressed (as he'd selected) in black velvet dresses and coats, white silk for the blouses. He'd found a Chinese-styled outfit that intrigued him in a store they passed, the black silk shirt with a dragon embroidered on it, and baggy black pants.
Ranma smiled to himself, putting an arm on Mercury's shoulder as the genie-girl stopped. "Have you found something, pet?"
"Perhaps, Master," she murmured back, leaning up against the muscular form of her beloved. "Something not too far off, like a genie being summoned, or going back into her ring..."
He grinned, and so did Saturn. "We're close, then, Master... so very close to having another sister..." She trailed off in blissful recollection of their bonding, shivering deliciously.
Ranma put his arm around the dark genie and nodded, then kissed her softly. "Soon, Saturn-chan," he whispered, "And not long after that, we'll have our revenge on Beryl and her pets..."
