But before Bast could leave with Ranma, another person showed up. A tall, bald man with dusky skin. Suddenly, Bast looked a little guilty.

"Bast, dear... why did I suddenly get a message that you were engaged?" Ptah, God of Craftmenship, asked his wife.

AN - The God Ptah was said to be married to the Goddess of Fury, Sakhmet, and/or (depending where you were) the Goddess of Cats, Bast.

I think this qualifies him as Ranma's latest Rival...

• Cue the inevitable New Rival Fights Ranma bit...
• "I mean, really, dear," The god continued, "If you want a new lover, fine, but you really should at least mention this to Sakhmet or I first, so we know were to find you..."
• "I mean, really, dear," The god continued, "If you want a new lover, fine, but you really should at least mention this to Sakhmet or I first. I mean, this is really inconsiderate... didn't you think we might be interested in joining you?
• Bast explains that she is mainly here to cure Ranma of the Cat-Fist.
• Another Heavenly Fiancee shows up...
• Something else
