Theo raised a hand in a peaceful gesture. " Please you two...don't run off..I wish to talk to you both. Without blowing my top like I did back there."
" I..couldn't really blame ya for that Dr. Diggers, I mean, heck you were just worried about your daughter...and..well..damn if I was in your shoes I'd be madder than hell too.." Ranma said in an apologetic tone, hanging his head lightly.
Britanny hugged Ranma and looked down a bit with tears inher eyes. " I'm sorry Dad..."
" Britanny, dear please don't cry. This has caught us ALL off guard it seems. I suggest I teleport us all back to the hotel so we can get something to eat, and discuss this in a calmly fashion."
Both Werecheetah's nodded, and walked over to Theo as he casted the teleport spell, taking them back to the hotel he and Britanny booked the day before when they arrived in China.
After a meal and a LOOONG discussion..
" So Britanny, you intend to keep and raise the baby?"
" Yes Daddy I am." Britanny nodded.
" And Ranma, you intend to stand by Britanny's side and help raise the baby, am I correct?"
Ranma nodded, his hand clasped with Britanny's. " Yes Dr. Diggers, its half my fault anyway, and besides. " He turned to Britanny and smiled. " I'd be the biggest idiot in the world to abandon such a wondergul girl."
That earned Ranma a hug from a happy Britanny.
Theo smiled at the two love-cheetahs so to speak. Maybe this wouldn't turn out as bad as he thought.
" Dr. Diggers, do you have any idea why we kinda..ya'know gave into our hormonal urges like that?"
" I'm wondering that too Dad, I mean we had just met, and suddenly I've well *blush*..got this urge to 'jump him' and such." Britanny said hidding her red face in Ranma's shoulder.
" Same for me, its like we both started giving off these scents, and well..the urge hit hard." Ranma admitted red as a tomato.
" Hmm, it sounds like your bodies did an imitation of heat, and rut." Theo said rubbing his chin in thought.
" Imitation?"
" If it were the true Heat & Rut....you body temperatures would skyrocket, plus you'd both feel semi-intense pain in the groin regions. From what you described, it sound slike it, but a toned-down version but with the same results."
" Come again?" Ranma blinked.
" When a female Werecat is in heat, fertility sokrockets, and same for Werecat males in Rut, their sperm potency raises." Theo explains.
" I see.."
" Well..its getting late...I'm going to phone Gina and tell her we're comming home tomorrow on the first plane out. You both get some sleep."
