Julia, Gina & Mumsy sat on a couch facing the couch Britanny & Ranma with only a coffee table seperating thw interrogators', and intergatees'. Thei merely sat in a chair at the head of the coffee table, letting the womenfolk do the talking unless they wanted his pionion and/or directed a question at him. He already had a similiar talk with the two earlier in China, thus he saw no reason to drill into them for now.
" Okay, now let's review what you both told us. When you first met, you just did introductions, traded personal information, and fished correct?" This was asked by Mumsy, who was still giving Ranma aglare that meant death if he gave her the oppertunity too.
Both teens nodded.
" Then Britanny, you say you feel this 'urge' to 'be' with him, and you are the one who instigated the sexual activity that got you pregnant?" Julia asked, a bit surprised that her daughter was the one who started the incident. Besides her obvious attachement to Ranma, it pretty much killed off some of Julia's reason to turn Ranma into a rug.
Britanny nodded with a deep blush on her face. " Yes...it just...felt right..and well..it did feel good."
A few sweatdrops formed on a few heads, and Ranma began to blush as red as Britanny.
Gina looked at Ranma, still not liking this bum who knocked up her sister. " And when Brit started making the moves...you gave in?"
Ranma rubbed the back ofhis head nervously. " Yeah, part of me was telling me to run, but...I felt this heavier urge to go with the flow and mate with her..and..well. " His whole body turned red. "...being with her..felt great..and like..I found the missing piece of my life or something.."
Britanny smiled at the sweet compliment and hugged Ranma, who returned it.
Julia had to crack a smile at the boy's words. While a bit stuttery, bthey were sincere, and honest.
Mumsy didn't smile, but her glare eased up. If the boy honestly felt Britanny was his soulmate, maybe she could bare to not kill him. But she wouldn't ease up on him for his end of this mess.
Theo knew that look Mumsy had in her eye, and felt a smal twang of sympathy for Ranma. It looked like Mumsy would egg her 'Grandson-in-law like she does him.
Gina almost felt like going 'aww' at Ranma's sweet words meant for her sister, buther big-sister mentality told her not to give him an inch or centimeter of her good side.
" Now I have one last thing to ask. Ranma are you positive you WILL stay by Birtanny's side, marry her, help her through her pregnancy, raise your child when he/she is born, and that you won't give us reason to go through with what we intended to do when we met you?" Julia asked giving the werecheetah Martial Artist a stare that dared him to foul up, less he wanted eternal pain.
" Yes Mrs. Diggers, you have my word of honor. The only way I'd ever leave Britanny would be somebody had to kill me in every possible means that would be 100 times worse than hell, then seal my soul into oblivivion.....and even then I'd come back to her." Ranma said with his own serious expression, and sincere tone.
Britanny looked at Ranma, a smile brighter than the sun growing on her face. She tightened her hug on him, and began purring loudly, and wrapped her tail around his waist.
Mumsy whistled at Ranma's sincreity, Julia smiled, his answer VERY satisfactory to her, and Gina gaped, her mind now starting to reconsider her first opinions of Ranma. As they went from 'perverted bum' to 'nice guy...how'd Brit get lucky and find him'.
Theo cleared his voice with a cough, getting everyone's attention, and a grateful look from Britanny & Ranma for taking the attention away from them. " Everyone, while I know the matter before hand is most serious, I wish to bring up another topic."
" What's that Dad?" Gina asked.
" Before we left, I went to Jusenkyo, the palce where Ranma was turned into Werecheetah and took some samples from the other springs, especially the ones with magical beings or rare creatures." Theo said as he pulled out a case and opened it revealing a several viles of Jusenkyo water.
" Why did you bring back samples of the water from that magical dump for Teddy?" Mumsy asked, with a smirk while using her 'pet name' for her deemed 'unworthy son-in-law'.
Theo ignored the jibe, including his observation of Ranma trying to hold in a snicker. " Because I think there's more to Jusenkyo than meets the eye. Normally the cursed springs turn you into whatever drowned there last, in to reverse the curse you need to splash hot water on yourself, and cold water activates your cursed form. Ranma here...is stick as a Werecheetah forever and not as some cursed form. It seems magical beings that drowned in Jusenkyo because of their magical auras mess with the cursed properties of its magic."
" Making it so Ranma is stuck as he his and he can't become human again right?"
" Exactly Gina, I brought the waters back to study them and maybe figure out how it works...and what kind of magic we're dealing with here."
Julia picked up a vile between her index figner and thumb and broguth it up for examination.
Unfortunatly...forgetting her own strength, she applied a little 'too much' pressure to keep the vile between her fingers, and it shattered lightly spilling the water onto her hand, lap, and a little in her face.
Uh-oh!
AN: Now YOu get to decide what she becomes!
