Theo sat down at the table in the kitchen with the Edge Guard sitting around at various spots at the table. "Okay, does any of the legends in Jade actually tell how bad this werecat is suppost to be?"
Everyone shook their heads, Oloni spoke, "No Dr. Diggers, they don't, the most anyone could tell you is that if you see it, stay out of its way." Everyone nodded.
"I see." Theo cupped his chin with one hand and thought of the situation, if the weresmilidon was coming there, they'd have a fight on their hands and a bad one, especially after what Romeo told him about how the the Orb of Felebast had activated.
Just before he continued with the conversation, Britanny and Strype entered the room, "Hi Dad, say I was wondering where. ." She trailed off when she noticed the Edge Guard members. "Oh hey guys, what are you all doing here?"
Gar answered her, "We were sent to investigate the appearance of the new werecat just appeared."
Brit just rolled her eyes, "Not this again, the wererats were saying something about this earlier, but it's just so stupid, I mean, come on it can't be that bad right?"
The Edge Guard looked at her as if she had grown a second head. Oloni enlightened her, "Britanny, you may not think it, but the weresmilidon to Jade is equivalent to the boogyman here on Earth. Your father just told us that the weresmilidon may just kill anyone who it sees as a threat to all werecats."
Brit blinked her eyes as did Strype, who asked Theo, "Do your notes say anything else?"
"Yes, unfortunately, Iceron wasn't messing around when he made this one." Sighing he continued, "From my notes and what Romeo and the others said, this werecat was to be Iceron's personal bodyguard and was created to keep the other lycanthrope in check."
Brit deadpanned, "Say what?"
"From what I've gathered it's superior to all lycanthrope in their specialties, but how much so I don't know."
Shelia had to ask, "What do you mean superior?"
Sighing Theo started to rub his forehead, "From what the wererats told me and from my notes, the weresmilidon could beat a werecheetah in a race, best a werelion in a test of strength, outhear a jagwere, out-track a weretiger, and is more agile, and has a sharper mind then a werepanther."
Brit looked at her father in shock, "No way."
Gar nodded, "Yes way, apparently Iceron didn't mess around at all with this last project. We were dispatched to find out if it was a threat to Jade or not. I sure hope we don't have to actually fight it, I don't like the thought of fighting something that powerful." The rest of the Edge Guard nodded, fighting a childhood terror was not something any of them would like to do even in the worst of situations.
Britanny now understood why the wererats had come here, if it was something that scary, hell, she'd do the same thing in their shoes. "I see, I'll go let Brianna and Gina know of this." Turning she was about to leave when she thought of something, "Say if this weresmilidon is suppost to kill off the wererats, how about we send it to where Gothwrain is right now?"
Theo blinked, "You know Britanny, that may not be a bad idea." Everyone nodded their agreements to that. Smiling Britanny was about to leave when the doorbell rang, blinking she ran to the front door and opened it, and she saw. . .
