" Damn...I'd have to be Iceron himself to actually understand the Weresmilodon..." Theo sighed and shut his book, placing it back on the shelf.
Then the room became brighter , and Theo turned around as he was greeted to the sight of the Northen Edge Guard of Seer's Hamlet arriving via a gate-scroll.
" Dr. Diggers! We have trouble." Onoli said gravely.
" If it concerns a Weresmilodon I agree."
" You know about it sir?" Thropan asked.
" Hard not to hear about Jade's version of the 'boogey-man'." Theo replied. " How did you hear of the Weresmilodon's comming Onoli?"
" The Jasper showed me a vision...this werecat is vicious."
" Yes, Iceron was not toying around when he prepared this beast. Its entire purpose is to kill Wererats and perserve all Werecat species. But; if the Weresmilodon sees a person or group of people as a threat to Werecats or any of Iceron's werebeasts that he favored it might go out of its way and kill them all."
Sheila shivered. " Scary..."
" Yeah.." Raphiel agreed.
" So what're we gonna do about this Smilodon-dude?" Tigra asked placing his hands behind his head.
" It depends....if it proves to be malviolent beyond control..we may have to kill it. Hopefully its human host will be reasonable...if Iceron's programming hasn't erased all shred of its former humanity that is."
" Sniff..sniff.....Dr. Diggers do you have Wererats in the house?!" Gar said after catching a whiff of soemthing.
" Yes...apparantly they had the item that transformed the person into the Weresmilodon, thus it knows their scent and they have asked for Sanctuary."
" Is that wise?" Onoli raised an eyebrow.
" Their Clan Elders would gladly make them sacrifical scapegoats to cover their tracks. So yes..believe it or not, it is." Theo answered.
" Where are they?"
" Gina is giving them a tour of the premisis. In the meantime can I offer you anything while your here?"
