After exiting from a swirling vortex of mauve light, Ranma found a pair of giant robots in the end stages of combat not 100 metres in front of him.
“Oh, crap,” the pigtailed boy cursed as he flipped himself round to land properly.
Standing up from his three point landing stance, he saw that the white, humanoid robot was not moving.
“What the hell is the pilot doing?” Ranma asked, but no-one was around to answer.
Doing what came naturally, he ran towards the stricken mech to see what was going on. Bouncing off the body of the machine, he reached the cockpit.
The hatch opened and he saw an injured girl slumped in the chair.
He could see that the pilot was female…
