Mercury and Saturn readied themselves for a fight.
Keiichi got ready to combine the Urd and Lightning cards, the most devastating combo he'd found yet.
"Master," said Mars simply, eyes tearing up.
"Huh?!" Ranma wasn't quite sure what to do about girls crying.
"Because of your faith in me, combined with the healing from Keiichi's Angel, I am partially restored," said Mars. "For such a one, how can I do less than my best. Choose me. I'll handle the transportation and we'll go to Kyoto where you can look for Moon with Mercury and Saturn."
That sounded like a good deal. "Are you up to it?"
Mars smiled and fresh tears threatened to spill over. Even tainted as she was, he still wanted her and was concerned about her. "Yes. Let's go."
Saturn and Mercury returned to their Rings, and Ranma quickly found himself transported:
