[Episode 37079] [Episode 37079]"Quick, someone call an ambulance!" Trying to wrack her brain for everything she oculd remember from a coupel of first aid courses she bent over the young man and gingerly felt around the side of is neck for some pulse. It didn't help that her nerves were fraid from seeing the accident, or the wailing toddler that the young man had just saved was busy wailing his distress. But as frantic as she was she couldn't find a pulse, even checking the mans wrists turned up no pulse which only heightened her fear.
He was dying or already dead and their was little she could do about it. Nervously she tilted his head back just enough to make sure that his windpipe would be open as she gave him mouth to mouth to get some fresh oxygen into his lungs. No response. Switching to another tact she placed both her hands over his heart and pushed down with as much strength as she thought she dared use. After several attempts she looked down at his chest and swore vehemently, when she was pushing down one of the young mans ribs were almost poking through the skin that she could see through a tear in the shirt. With yet more trepidation and a growing sense of queasiness she tore open the shirt and lightly pressed down again. On any other day the sight of those well toned muscles would have caused her to blush but not now when she could clearly see no less then three broken ribs nearly poking through the skin.
Covering her mouth she turned away, fighting back the gorge that rose in her throat as her stomach tried to empty its contents. She couldn't help him now without causing further damage, looking up though she could only see that the crowd had gotten larger. Wasn't anybody going to help?! "GOD-DAMNIT SOMEONE CALL A FUCKING AMBULANCE NOW!" That startled enough people out of their haze to pull out their cell phones.
The woman was too shaken to realize that she had just cussed out an entire crowd of people, children included. Later she might but given another such situation she'd probably do it again instead of being polite.
