Once she managed to get close to him, she muttered "(I haven't been this out of it ever since I stood downwind of that oversized stinkbomb from the next village...)"
"Umm... hi?"
"(And do you know whose fault it is?)" she told him, a finger jabbing him in the chest, "(Yours!)"
"Uh sorry..."
"(All you had to do was stick around for a few minutes and everything would have been fine. But noooo, you had to lead me on a journey all over the place!)"
"I'm sorry, but..."
"(You lead me from the village to those damn springs. Then I got stuck having to beat up some morons on a dock, though that was fun. And then came the sea journey, and just why that one guy kept on calling me 'Froderick' I don't know, which lead me to this island and that bedamned machine!)"
"...I don't understand what you're saying..."
"(But that's okay,)" she told him and looped an arm about his shoulders as she leaned into him for support, "(Since you have such a cute butt.)"
