As it passed through the camp, everyone got a good look at Shampoo hanging on for dear life as she attempted to operate a go-kart on steroids.
"(Aghhhhh! Not stairs! Why did it have to be stairs!)"
They watched in consternation as she went down the stairs into the temple.
"Wasn't that gal that Amazon chick from the village?" Ranma asked.
From a hidden vent they could hear a sudden roar and someone speaking indecipherable Chinese. "(Agghhh! Where's the stop button!)"
The group of pets, one martial artist, and one superspy archaeologist, watched as gusts of dirt blew out in a pattern as the go-kart continued its merry race - now underground.
"(This is not a way to treat an Amazon warrior! AHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)"
"It sounds like she fell down a shaft," said Seta.
"She's a crazy Amazon chick who's given me the Kiss Of Death and is pursuing me to the ends of the Earth to kill me," explained Ranma.
"Ah, that explains it," said Seta, nodding as if that explained everything including the go-kart. "Well, we've got to go down there and find out about the Turtle's Egg. Belloq seemed to think it was important."
"Okay," said Ranma, tucking those martial arts scrolls into his shirt as he got ready. "So we gotta go get it before the bad guys do."
"Yeah, that's pretty much it," agreed Seta.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
"That's not funny, Usagi," said Ranma.
"That wasn't me," complained Usagi.
"Not me." "Uh uh." "Wasn't me." "Nope." "You?" "No way."
Everyone briefly puzzled over the odd noise before they realized:
