One of them rattled off a string of Egyptian that Kiyoko didn't understand, but guessed from Jeremiah's reaction and the dry chuckle at the end that the meaning was not good.
"So what are these guys?" Kiyoko asked, dropping into stance.
"They claim they are minions of Set," Jeremiah said, lifting his hands up. "They say thanks for freeing them by the way."
"I didn't free them," Kiyoko growled. "You did."
"If you want to get technical again..." he shrugged. The Japanese girl glared at him, but didn't have time for much else as one of the two "minions" moved to take her head off. She ducked under the slash and kicked outward, forcing the human-formed demon back against a wall.
Jeremiah backed away as the second dark warrior advanced on him. The minion growled as his swings were dodged aside, and he found himself no nearer to bringing his opponent down. The minion smiled as the young man's back came into contact with the wall.
"No where left to run, boy," the thing smirked.
"Guess not," Jeremiah said, shrugging with a smile as he rolled to the side dodging the next swing. He then rolled back against the flat of the blade and levering it out of the man's hand.
The minion blinked at the smiling adventurer.
"Unicorn trap." Then Jeremiah pressed his sudden advantage over the disarmed warrior.
Kiyoko was having a slightly less difficult time. She dodged several times, examining her opponent's form and motions. She smiled slightly as a definite weakness in the "man's" style started to make itself known to her.
The creature attacked again and Kiyoko easily intercepted the strike and twisted the blade out of her opponent's hand.
"This isn't so-" Kiyoko's confident declaration was cut short as the second minion was sent flying into her. She released her breath in gasp as she was crushed between plated warrior and stone wall.
"Oops," Jeremiah laughed nervously.
Kiyoko growled then began battering the warrior that had rammed her. Kiyoko's opponent was stunned by the sequence of events but only for a moment. It moved to retrieve the sword Kiyoko had dropped when she had been hit.
The demon felt himself smashed by the seemingly less dangerous of the mortals and toppled back against the wall, dazed. He was followed by his partner soon after, and the two minions looked up to their "prey."
"Is that all they have?" Kiyoko was asking, bored as she worked at her gun. One of the warriors laughed and spoke again. She didn't pay it any mind, not when she had almost fixed her gun.
"They say that we haven't seen anything yet," Jeremiah informed her. She shrugged and reached for a new clip, having cleared the jam. When the hissing started she paused and looked up.
