Laying cuddled up to him was Usagi, an innocent look upon her sleeping face. Oddly enough, he didn't immediately want to jump out of the bed and run away. There was nothing terribly sexual about it, and it was more in the line of feeling comfortable.
"Feeling better I see," said a nearby voice softly.
Ranma turned his head and looked to the source of the words, which turned out to be Setsuna sitting there in a chair, a novel laying in her lap. "Uh... hi."
"Hello. Did you have a nice nap?"
"Yeah, I guess. Where are we?"
"The Hotel Next To The Bar & Grill That Came After The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe."
"Huh?"
The Senshi of Time gave a little laugh. "You know how the universe started, right?"
"Umm...no."
"Well, it had a rather large explosion for a beginning. And since it has a beginning, it has to have an ending, right?"
"That seems ta be okay."
"You see, this is a place that exists after that ending."
"Ain't that like... impossible."
"Not really. We are here, aren't we?"
"Yeah..."
"Just relax. It's what this place is for anyway."
"I guess that I can do that, but there's one thing that's buggin' me."
"What's that?"
"Why is she in bed with me?"
"That's very simple. She likes sweets."
"So..?"
"Imagine someone who loves sweets having a chance to get to the most delicious desserts ever known, while having a nearly endless supply of credit."
"She didn't..."
"I assume that it was the 'Death By Chocolate' that that did her in."
"It ain't..?"
"A killer? No. It was a Devil's Food cake."
"Oh, okay..."
"With fudge frosting."
"Yikes."
"And milk chocolate flakes, chocolate sprinkles, chocolate syrup, and a cherry on top. Chocolate covered, of course."
"That'd kill ya."
"She survived for a little while, but then she had a stomach ache. So we got her some medicine, and had her lay down. She came to you for comfort and safety."
"Oh..."
"It was rather sweet, if you think about it."
"But no one else got mad about it?"
"Not when they realized that the two of you are brother and sister. Besides, they have their own things to do."
"Like what?"
"Makoto has discovered the television. Rei is busy making wards. Ami has discovered that this place has a book store. And Minako had more than her share of sweets and was heading for the bathroom the last time that I saw her."
"But what about everybody back at the Dojo."
"Don't worry. I told them that I was only taking you where you could be safe and recover."
"They ain't gonna believe that, y'know."
"Perhaps, but that is the truth."
The pigtailed boy just looked at her while:
