"What happened?" Usagi asked as she ran up to Setsuna.
"Is the demon gone yet?" Sailor Pluto asked, looking to where Cas had been just before her visit to the gate.
"Um, he just left. . ." Usagi said uncertainly.
"I see." She pulled herself up and took a deep breath. "It seems our attempt at stopping his friend was not as successful as we expected."
"Eh? But. . ."
"I met a new enemy at the time gates, and according to him, the chaos I saw in the future was the result of the bomb nullifying a modification Queen serenity had made to the worldlaws."
"Wait, who's this new enemy?" Rei asked.
"Doom. Or rather he said his name was Victor Von Doom. He wants the Crystal." She nodded to Usagi, who's hand rose to her locket.
"Well he's not getting it!" Sailor Uranus proclaimed. "We'll kick his ass to the moon, right?"
Setsuna looked at her fellow outer senshi. "I couldn't even scratch his forcefield with my death scream. We don't know enough to guess what he can do, and with the worldlaws changed in ways we don't know, we can't afford to trust to luck. We need more information."
"We can get it!" Mercury responded, pulling out a small box. "Before Cas left, he gave me this box, it's got the keys and security codes to get at his friends fiction sources."
Ami punched in the code into the keypad beside the door. It clicked. "Ok." She commented as she opened the door and walked in, clicking on the lights. The others followed her in, the froze staring at the bookcases lining the walls, the rows of metal shelves filled with boxes.
"Where do we start?" Minako asked, looking dubiously at everything.
Ami calmly went to the desk close to the door, and turned on the computer sitting there. "There's a directory." She started typing in commands. "Victor Von Doom. . . Ah, he's usually called Dr. Doom. References, Oh my. He's got a lot of references."
"Well, tell us the first few and we'll start searching." Rei commented with a sigh.
"Actually most of the data's together. Check the bookcase labeled A, shelf 3, and the books should be labeled A-3- 5 through A-3-9."
Michiru walked down the row and started pulling the first box off the shelf. "Haruka, a hand here." She called. The two lowered the first box to the ground and opened it.
"American Manga, right?" Makoto asked, peering into the box.
"Really?" Usagi asked, scooting up to look in. Picking up one, she opened it.
