Sailor Jupiter was, not surprisingly, going to be sponsored by Zeus himself. Thankfully, for Sailor Jupiter at least, Athena had managed to convince him that recreating the fictional Sailor Jupiter was not a wise move. So instead, as tradition held, he sent out a call for donations from other gods, and limited himself to simply granting the ability to throw lightning bolts around.
As such, Athena was one doing much of the real work behind Sailor Jupiter. She was using her craft skills to weave the Golden Fleece and Nemean lion skin into a uniform for the future magic girl. The Nemean lion skin, donated by Hercules who never wore it anymore anyway, would provide Sailor Jupiter with complete protection from physical harm - she could walk through a shower of bullets and emerge without a scratch. The Golden Fleece would insure that should Sailor Jupiter be hurt, by fire, magic, or other such non-physical means, she would recover in short order.
Other gods had also given their gifts to Jupiter to ensure she would be a well-armed soldier.
Sailor Moon, being the star of the fictional series, had been claimed by the native Japanese pantheon, specifically Inari. He was granting Sailor Moon the ability to change her shape into other forms, notably a fox and fox-hybrid form and a wolf and wolf-hybrid form. Oho-Kuninushi, a Japanese god of healing, magic, and heroes, was co-sponsoring Sailor Moon, and providing her with the proper mystical healing abilities needed to be identified as Sailor Moon.
Nut, Isis, and a few other Egyptian goddesses were sponsoring Sailor Venus. Her exact powers hadn't decided on yet, but it was clear that she would be receiving some serious firepower of her own.
As of yet, none of the other three faux senshi had been found, but the search was just starting...
