Nohman smirked slightly as walked away from the ensuing fight between the werecat and the demon hunter, keeing out of notice of the two. He didn't really care who won, either way one annoyance would be out of the way and the other would be weak enough to handle easly, much like Dingo and his group. He had a suspicion that either Dingo, Radium, or Leo were working with IAD to try and sabatoge him, but with this opportunity, he could get rid of them and keep his hands relativly clean. It was an underhanded tactic of course, but it worked in handling most of the drug dealers and the like that gave his Narcotics and Gang activity unit trouble. Just simply push two or more rival dealers into conflict and, God willing, the animals would take themselves out. Chuckling slightly, he remembered back to his little discovery earlier this morning when he was trying to figure out how he had advoided becomming a thrall to Claudus when he recalled an old case from two years ago.
Around that time, a weird voodo cult started up in Hell's Kitchen and was gaining a rather infamous reputation in PCP trafficking, theft, and kidnapping for sacerfical ceremonies. "The Sons of Iceron" they called themselves. After nailing one of the members on a possession charge, with info provied by one of his contacts, Nohman managed to "presuade" (read as threatened to smash his head in with a phone book) in his intrrogation to provide enough evidence for his strike team to take down the rest of the cult, saving the life of the latest kidnaping spree, a eight year old girl. Of course, the team did take the time to "explain" to the cult leader why this was considered a no-no. At least he was still in enough of one piece to stand trial. Anyway, among the items confescated as evidence were several extremely old and incomplete notes describing the idea of creating a werebeast. Apparently they decided to iprovise with the standard blood of a virgin in a bunch of occult hokum.
Of course, finding out that there were such a thing a weres would change one's opinion rather quickly. Pulling a few favors with the evidence boys, he took the time to look back over the notes before they were shipped off to Claudus, werever the fuck he was. As it turns out, if a person is infected with lycanthopy but has a descendant who was a were, the genetic tags would activate making that person a were along the ancistorial line with their free will intact. A little bit of research latter and he was surprised to discover that apparently one of his genetic ancistors happened to be a werejackal, the very one that inspired the myth of the Egyptian god Anubis. Just with the watering down of the werejackal genes over the milenna put it at a point that they were barely present in Nohman, but enough to keep his mind free. Still, he had a feeling that Claudus had enough information to fully awaken those traits. All he had to do was gain enough of the wereLord's trust to get the information. After that, it would be a simple matter of elimating him either by assassination or in conflict with one of the world's militaries, leaving him "the top dog" so to speak.
"I do hope you survive, Xian Pu, since I look forward to the day when you will call me master."
A.N: The reason why I had Nohman have a werejackal descendent is because in Zone of the Enders, the character this version is based on pilots an Orbital Frame known as Anubis, which rather complements his personality.
"Dr. Diggers, Miss Setsuna, I really don't think it's healthy for you to chugg Maloxx straight from the bottle."
