In Manhattan, demon hunter Dante Sparda was mowing down several hordes of police-officers-turned-werecat, being careful to only incapacitate them so they could be saved. This was rather difficult, since all of his weapons were magical.
In the south Bronx, Leo, Dingo, and Radium were engaged in combat with a SWAT Team while Ken secretly slipped through the hordes to find any help she could.
She lost track of her current location when she saw a fight standing out like no other.
She recognized Shampoo. Every cop was ordered to burn their general's appearance(as well as their Lord Claudius's) into their memory. It was the man fighting her that she didn't recognize.
Xero jumped back from the violent swings of Shampoo's bonbori, using a nearby car as a springboard, he jumped onto a nearby building, being followed by Shampoo. Again, she attacked, this time with her claws, clearly intending to infect Xero. Xero responded by raising his arm, and allowing the cut.
"Now you obey Shampoo." She simply stated, expecting him to change shortly... She was very surprised when he didn't change.
"Variation of the anti-infection spell all lycanthropes are supposed to have. No werecreature can infect me. Now, I'll give you one more chance to give up."
Xero's response was Shampoo again attacking with her bonbori, Xero unsheathed the katana on his hip and deflected the blow. "If you insist..." Removing the katana from his back with his left hand, Xero entered a neutral combat position, and let Shampoo make the next move.
Ken couldn't believe what she'd seen. This man had been scratched and didn't change. And now he was fighting Shampoo on equal terms(or was he holding back...?). She'd have to find out who he is and enlist his help...
Meanwhile, somewhere in Japan, Ami stood in a forested area, focusing. Using things her father had left her, she had gotten an idea of how to self-train herself to use her magic to its fulelst extent. Already she had mastered several spells based on her element as the Senshi of Mercury, but now she was concentrating on other elements... As well as healing spells... Her concentration was interrupted when her communicator beeped. "What?!"
Makoto flinched. She had never heard Ami so angry. "Um, Ami, it's Makoto. We're going to go deal with the lycanthrope problems and we need you to-"
"I'm not coming."
"WHAT?!"
"I'm not coming! I'm going after Gothwrain before I do ANYTHING else."
Setsuna's voice came through her communicator, "Ami, there will be several chances to get him later. This requires our immediate atten-"
"JUST SHUT UP!!! I'm not going and that's FINAL!!!" Ami cut off her comm...
Back at the shrine, the other Senshi were dumbstruck. Ami had NEVER gotten so pissed off before. It seems her father's death affected her more than they had thoguht... And for now, they were one Senshi short...
