Ranma found in the next month that he was intermittantly seeing ghosts, spirits, or Visions around everyone. None made any sound, increasing the difficulty of interpreting what was happening.
There were a few that were comparatively simple, if only they weren't so gruesome. The imp pulling a compass needle out of Ryoga's head, leaving a hole in his skull. Kodachi's dead mother tearing at the gymnast's back in anger. The innocent-looking child pulling Mousse's eyes out of their sockets.
Some were inexplicable to him. A tiny Nabiki dancing around her own head holding a bloody, beating heart in her hands, although for some reason he knew it wasn't her own. The Saotome family sword alternately defending, then decapitating Nodoka. Cologne placing a golden crown on Shampoo's head, then sending Mousse to spear her in the back.
Now there was a new one which confused and alarmed him. On his own right shoulder, sat an unblinking eye crying tears of blood. What confused him was that he had seen Kasumi with one also. What alarmed him was that Cologne had one.
Although it was against his better judgement, he decided he should...
