The Real World: Anime Style: And the Rest of the Bedding... (LIME) [Episode 38690]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

In the room normally occupied by the sisters of Juraiian royalty; Ayeka and Sasami, we instead see Rika Nonaka and Yugi Moto settling into their beds.

Rika had removed very little clothing, mostly settling to take off her shoes and her jacket. Slipping under the covers, she eyes Yugi critically. He had taken off his shoes, jacket, and shirt, wearing a light t-shirt and his pants to bed. "And remember, Yugi. No funny stuff or else!"

Blinking his eyes, Yugi was slightly shocked. "I would never do that!"

Rika continued to stare at Yugi. "You sure?"

Holding his hand up and over his heart, Yugi said, "You have my word I won't."

After a moment, Rika nodded her head. "If you know what's good for you, you better."

And with that, the two settled into their futons, turned away from each other. Sleep coming slowly.

Meanwhile, in the living room and Hallway connection, we see the Dog demon and the Kitsune Digimon up in the rafters.

Inu-Yasha grumbles as he lays on his stomach on one of the rafters. "I can't believe they put us here..."

Renamon shrugged her shoulders. "It could be worse."

"Worse?" Inu-Yasha asked. "WORSE? listen, you, it is the worst! There's no warmth. No blankets. No pillows. Just hard, narrow wood that we could fall from!" He narrowed his eyes in anger. "And to top it off, that cheap imitation of me is in the same room as Kagome!"

Renamon was quite silent upon hearing that. She somewhat understood how the Dog-demon felt. She could see that he was Kagome's protector, and he felt as though he were being replaced. Renamon knew that emotion well, especially when that boy Ryo tried dating Rika, and Renamon didn't know what to do with herself. Thankfully, that didn't turn out to be much.

Looking around, Renamon was hoping to find something to change the conversation. Upon looking straight down, Renamon smiled as she had an idea. "Hey, how about we sleep in the living room?"

Inu-Yasha blinked his eyes once, then twice. Looking down, his eyes widened in understanding. NO ONE had claimed the living room. And this way, they could at least sleep on the furniture.

Jumping down, Inu-Yasha went straight to a reclining chair. "Hey, that was a good idea you had, foxy. I mean, this's pretty comfy. MUCH better than a rafter."

For some reason unknown to Renamon, she found herself smiling as she laid herself down on the couch.

Meanwhile in the deepest depts of the Masaki Dungeon basement, Brianna and Terry set up set up sleeping on their seperate cots...

But sleep will not come for poor Terry. He fears for himself as to what Brianna might try to do.

After all, he may be a fighter, and train hard, but he is no way in hell like the street fighter Ryu Hoshin. Terry likes women...

And for some reason, Brianan decided to sleep on her cot nude, facing towards him... A Rather inviting smile on her face.

Terry whimpered and turned towards the wall. "It's gonna be a loooooooooooooooooooooong night..."

(------)

In the relative safety of her lab, Washu watches all the people settling into bed. She smirks at the relative humor she feels. Though Washu did frown for a moment. She lost the personal bet she made with herself. Renamon and Inu-Yasha figured out the secret to their sleeping habits way earlier than she expected. "I guess that Digimon is smarter or at least mroe resourceful than I expected."

Kicking back in her seat, Washu sat her feet up on the console. These guests seemed VERY interesting ideed. Oh, what fun she was going to have.
