" I doubt its been claned since the house was built.." Botan grumped as she half-way hanging out the window dusting off sheets and clothes covering the furniture in the attic.
" Tomorrow morning if I'm not dead-tired I am lodging a complaint to Washu."
" Ditto."
In her room, Makoto laid in her bed. Her gaze was kept on the demon who was asleep on the futon across the room. No movement for at least 30 minutes...steady rise and fall of chest....yep he was asleep, and thankfully didn't snore.
Reaching over to the pile of 'magazines' she and Hiei had discarded from her mattress before finding a spare 'real' one. Makoto took out a portable reading light and flipped it on, and began to browse through the magazine. And finding herself blushing madly. " Oh my...."
Knowing she wasn't looking Hiei smirkedin his sleep...he could play dead and convince the undead he was among their numbers if he wanted to, and faking sleep was no trouble. Hmm only 40 minutes since lights out until she went for the mags...she lasted longer than he estimated.
Kagome twisted and turned in her bed, mumuring lightly in distress, her arms and legs trashing about, she felt like she was suffocating. Like she was about to die.
" Nagh no NO LIMME GO!"
" Kagome snap outta it, your having a nightmare!" A voice called out to her.
Kagome began to clam down, as her eyes tried to focus her voice called to the person hovering above her. " I..Inu-Yasha?"
" Wrong guy, but I don't take it as an insult since we DO sound alike."
Kagome's eyes fully open as she stares up at Ranma's concerned face starring down at her own.
"..What's wrong? What were you dreaming about that scared you so badly?"
Kagome tried to find her voice, the dream was so...horrifying...she couldn't describe it..
(AN: Neither could the author, and that's why it isn't in the post ^_^;)
Instead of answering...she found herself hugging the Pigtailed martial artist and lightly sobbing onto his chest.
" KA..Ka..Kagome?!" Ranma stammered....why did this always happen to him?
" Please....don't...leave me alone...horrible..death...blood...just so horrible...*sniff*..."
His instincts to comfort the girl overrided his normal reactions to ESCAPE a female's grasp, and he found himself hugging her lightly. " Shh..its okay Kagome...its okay...I won't let anything hurt ya.."
Downstairs Inu-Yasha sneezed.
