Why you ask? It wasn't her nightmares that's for sure, not it was something else. She was having trouble sleeping because she was trying to comprehend the situation.
After sending Inu-Yasha through the floor, Ranma and Kagome decided they should go back to bed, except Kagome still was slightly afriad the nightmare would return. Be it a weak moment or an inner impulse taking control, she mumured a plea for Ranma to sleep in the bed with her.
...And he conceded...
Well he knew she wasn't going to take advantage of him, and vice versa. She just found it hard to sleep because she was still a bit in awe a guy was sleeping..next to her and partially cuddled to her with his arms holding her protectivly.
The blush on her face was bright enough to shine through a fog suffice to say. Yawning, she slowly, and finally drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
Meanwhile in the other room, Makoto was entranced by a certain page of the magazine she had been looking at.
"..You like that position don't you? Been staring at that page for 10 minutes now.."
Started Makoto yelped and dropped the mag. " WAHHHHHHH! YOUR AWAKE?!"
Hiei smiled in the darkned room. " Yes I have been for quite some time...and you woman call us males pigs...your no different."
" Oh just...shut up...grrrrrr" Makoto mumbled and muttered.
Hiei just chuckled and relaxed on his futon grinning.
