The party consisting of Gina, Ryan, Ranma, Britanny, Genn, Brianna & Seance gazed at the half-buried spaceship sticking out of the cliffface. They were currently in a canyon near Death Vally, where a weeka go, a nasty flood took a few chunks off the clifside revealing the buried space ship.
" Yep...according to the geo-scanners...and from the looks of the rust and decay...its been buried for 20 years minimum..30 years tops.." Gina replied as she checked her hand-held scanner
" What kind of ship is this anyway?" Genn asked, in neutral form currently, with Seance around he wanted to go female, but Brianna told him to stay neutral as they'd either need his masculine form..or some other form he could muster if danger aroused.
" Tyr gave us a ship dictionary, but its outdated by a few thousand years. Luckily Asrial was able to get us an up-to-date one, and according to the data I downloaded to my scanner. Its an old Zardon science-vessel, that is a converted private yacht."
" So some Zardonian big-wig owned this ship?" Ranma spoke up.
" Let's just hope it isn't rigged or booby-trapped." Britanny shivered...she'd had her own share of dealing with Zardonians, after their times with the Quagmire gang.
" If it is, I'll blow up any nastiness we encounter eheheh!" Brianna giggled in delight as she patted her new pulse guass gun.
" Well shall we get cracking folks?" Ryan popped his knuckles in anticipation of finding some goods in the ship.
" We need to take this slowly Ryan, we don't know what or 'who' might still be in that thing." Seance said cautiously.
" Yeah, yeah whatever Toothpick..OW!' Ryan rubbed his head after Ranma lightly bopped him.
" Not now Ryan, you and Seance can go on with your feud LATER!" Ranma said warningly. " We're here on a mission, so stay sharp and don't go blowing steam at each other."
" Right..right.." Ryan grumbled.
Smiling at Ranma for playing mediator, Gina proceeded to the forward hatch...or what should be the hatch on the forward section sticking out of the rockface. " Hmmm..Brianna...this door looks solid and decayed...we need a new door."
" MWAHAHA! STAND BACK AND LET THE PROFESSIONAL HANDLE THIS ONE FOLKS!" Brianna cackled as she turned off the saftey on her gun.
(AN: yes believe it or not she does have safeties on her guns, at least this one....)
Everyone dived out of the way as Brianna brought up the rifle and let loose a steady burst of charged particle bullet-rounds into the doorframe outline, until the door fell off.
" Ehehehe, when the way is blocked...good ol' fashioned particle blasters can make you a doorway."
After the rest of the group shook their heads, and rolled their eyes at Brianna's typical display...they ventured into the ship.
After making their way from the entryway, they found the forward chamber of the ship.
" Holy...its huge...this ship is bigger than it looks!" Brianna exclaimed. The room dimensions were almost like those of the main living room of the mansion.
" Looks like we'll have to split up." Genn said after noticing at least several different doors and/or hallways leading into the ships bowels. " Maybe Seance and I can partner up?" Genn thought hopefully.
" I'll take that one by myself." Ranma said as he nodded at the farest top doorway that was accessed by a stairway. He didn't know why...but he had a gut-feeling about the room.
" Okay Ranma, I'll go this way with Brianna." Britanny pointed to another hallway.
" Alrighty, Ryan your with me, Seance, you and Genn take the thrid archway over to the right." Gina said as she pointed.
Genn smiled, and Seance shivered as he saw a glimpse of Genn's current daydream...one involving them naked, and too much sex for the Aura-Mage in-training's mind to comprehend.
Everyone went their seperate way into the bowels of the ship, Ranma went up the stairway and through the door. As he walked into the chamber, he found it was some short of holding area...but not for prisoners, but for items like a collection of sorts.
All of which seemed busted or their containers were sealed shut...save one. Curious Ranma walked over to the holding table and peered at the item.
It wasn't busted nor the container sealed. It was circular in shape, with a metal ball of some kind in the middle. These purplish blue trendils of some kind were wrapped around like a hose, and three metal-like casebindings snapped on in a triangular fashion.
" What the heck is this thing?" He says as he picks it up..it felt light..and..leatherly...almost felt like...skin? He looked at the name-tag for the item on the table..thankfully the lettering was close enough to english he could read it.
" Guy...ver..Unit..Guyver Unit? Wonder what it does?" He mused as he eyed the unit.
Suddenly the metal ball in the middle became to glow, a circle outline near the middle of the ball lighting up. Ranma's eyes widened as he looked at the unit closer..the trendils..were moving..
"..Is..this thing..alive?"
Ranma's answer was the binder parts comming off and the trendils wrapping all over him and the metal ball attaching itself to his forehead. He tried to call for help, but his mouth was muffled by the trendils covering his entire body..soaking into every pore and orifice...snaking inside his body...he could feel his heartbeat and every other biological function of his body as he slowly slipped into darkness as the Guyver unit did its work.
Slowly the trendsil began to melt and form on Ranma's body grayish like armor parts forming from the gooy mass, as the Guyver unit began to transform its new host.
After the transformation was finished, Ranma..or more technically, what he became stop up.
Ranma Saotome...had become..THE GUYVER!
(AN: I'll get a link with a good pic and list the Guyver's abilities to those who don't know about it, or need a refresher.)
Outside the ship four figures stood outside.
" So this's Gina Digger's latest find....search the ship and if there's any Alien DNA to be had FIND IT!"
" Yes Lord Talon!"
Oh did Pee Wee and his goonsquad pick a BAAAAD time to butt in.
