First, Akane was seen at the Tendo shrine, vowing on her honor to NEVER cook a thing as long as she lived!
He can still see her in his mind's eye, chanting "No more poison, No more poison" but was also circling Pork recipes in the cookbook before turning them over to Kasumi! Weird.
This sight was followed up by Soun formally apologising for threatening to marry Ranma during the Locking Dipper mess. He just said "Nono, i wish I hadn't done that. *BELIEVE* me." and wouldn't hear another word about it. 'Stead of crying, he was.. doing Katas(?) with a Naginata in the training hall at the moment. *Weird*.
Now Akane and Nabiki were whispering and poitning towards him at times, but no-one had hit him, and they SMILED when he looked at them too long and they noticed! **WEIRD!!**
He was going to go run off and outlast the Invasion of the Pod People, but the cheerful voice of Kasumi, although oddly strained just that moment, was heard calling out "Dinner, it's dinnertime!"
Ranma was downstairs a second later, making sure that Genma was next to him in order to protect the others from his food-thieving as per usual, but this time there was a change.
Genma's plate was empty.
When Genma calmy tried to force Ranma to have the empty plate and take Ranma's food, Nabiki kneed the back of his head before sitting in her spot.
THEN when he tried again (Genma's learning curve is a flat line, pretty much), Genma found himself with a Naginata nudging his chin in the same manner a certain wifely Katana had been known to, in times past.
"no, NO, my *Friend*, we are going to let you eat all you can, you MUST in fact, aftewr we are done first!" As Ganma watched and cried, Akane fed Soun, then returned to her meal, as the others ate as well. Finally, the Naginata was withdrawn, only to be replaced at that same instant by a 18" Ginsu wielded rather expertly by **Kasumi**!
Ranma was about to jump up and save his Bakadad from the Pods, when Nabiki just said "Remember that Wish?" Ranma just stopped, in mental blank until it sank in, then said "Yeah, you made it for me, some junk about Understanding..?"
"That all the fiancees Understood you. It worked!" Ranma remained clueless. "So? I mean, it's not like I'm any different, I'm just-"
Akane, who had piled up a HUGE plate of her leftover cooking before Genma, answered even as she stuffed the Anti-Food into Genma's pleading face, making him swallow. "Just a abuse victim since you were freakin' 5 YEARS OLD! And I'm as bad as he is, I'm.."
Ranma couldn't take that, so he belted out "HEY! You're my uncute tomboy, you may not be the best fighter out there, but you can be sweet sometimes, just get over it, alrigh'?"
Meanwhile, the Akane-stuff was battling a Nukewar in Genma's guts, or it felt that way, but every move that wasn't eating more and more of this slop was greeted by Soun and Kasumi striking at nerve points to cause agony, and their weapons were held steady all thoughout.
Nabiki said "We're all feeling guilty, and YES, baka, it's really us.. Like I said, we UNDERSTAND you, now, including ourselves as you see us, Saotome." Akane followed with "Yes, we have a LOT to live down. The Tendo Clan is now at your disposal, we are your retainers, as of this day, Saotome-Sama."
Meanwhile, the now-helpless Genma was turning Panda, Human, and shifting colors rapidly before settling on Plaid.
