Chibi-Hinako smirked evilly and unleashed her feared chi drain attack on the foolish girls who had rejected their loving master to get in cahoots with the delinquent Ranma. She was sure to neutralize at least half of the opposition without too much hassle this way "HAPPO GO-ENSATSU !"
She hadn't counted on Sailor Saturn's intervention however "SILENCE WALL !" A wall of raw darkness rose in front of Team Ranma and her attack harmlessly crashed upon it. Behind Saturn, Ifurita whispered "Technique acquired : Happo Go-ensatsu" The silence wall dissipated and the demon god formed a circle with a twirl of her power key staff "Aura Drain..."
Ifurita's version of miss Hinako's chi drain struck in the middle of Ataru's strike team. The Dirty Pair, the Scarlet Witch, Rose, Storm, Kasumi (the Dead or Alive kunoichi, not the Tendo eldest sister) and Ayane were reduced into crumpled paper-like bony silhouettes and collapsed. That stunt had evened the numbers out and taken out their long-range firepower at the same time. Thanks to Ranma, they knew how his fiancees and acquaintances fought, that had allowed them to prepare counter-tactics.
Before Hinako-sensei could try again, a deflected batarang courtesy of Ranma knocked her five yen coin out of her fingers. She didn't have time to shout in dismay at this because she was immediately sent into unconsciousness by a well-placed whack of the Time Key in the back of her head. Sailor Pluto smiled then turned her attention on another opponent.
Tigra had moved to attack Ranma, knowing his fear of cats and her own feline appearance would make him falter but had been intercepted by Karinka "Bad kitty, bad... You won't bother master Ranma if I have anything to say about it" The petite and young-looking steel angel backhanded her into a wall and cheerfully pummeled the avenger catwoman into unconsciousness.
The succubus sisters Morrigan and Lillith Aensland were caught into a piched battle with another pair of warriors, the outer senshi Sailor Uranus and Neptune. Neither side seemed to take the advantage on the other for the time being. The darkstalkers weren't used to fight in such cramped conditions while hand-to-hand combat wasn't the sailor senshi's forte.
Chun-Li had engaged Cammy White in combat. They already knew each other as well as their fighting style and had figured that they had the best chance of beating the other in a straight out fight. Punches, kicks and special techniques were exchanged between the two street fighters. Chun-Li had the most clear thoughts of the two and held the tactical advantage. Cammy, on the other hand, was in full shadaloo doll mode and was channeling psycho power in her moves, making her the most physically powerful of the two. Only time would tell which one would prevail in this duel.
Kurumi and Saki had their hands full trying to hold Power Girl back. The blonde superhero from the DC universe was almost as strong, tough and quick as Superman himself. Only two-teaming tactics kept the steel angels from being defeated right away but they were steadily losing ground. The tide turned when Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn blasted her with their magical attacks, one of her few vulnerabilities.
The fight between Nuku Nuku and She-Hulk was currently a draw. The android cat girl wasn't strong enough to hurt the Marvel heroine much and She Hulk couldn't lay a finger on Nuku Nuku who was moving and jumping around like Spiderman on steroids. Thankfully for Nuku, Ifurita took advantage of She Hulk's single minded pursuit of the android and used the starfleet phaser stun effect at full power. It took quite a few bursts but the green titaness fell in the end.
The same thing was true for Wonder Woman and Cheetah except that Brittany Diggers was starting to lose... The amazon princess had fought alongside Flash too long to not know how to deal with speedsters. The werecheetah was strong, allright, but Wonder Woman was much stronger and her blows with her magical bracelets were taking their toll on the lycanthrope.
Ranma had finally gotten rid of Batgirl. He had caught her batbolo and returned it with a move he had developed to counter Mousse and Happosai's projectiles, entangling her in the process. Unfortunately for him, the two girls he really didn't want to fight came to him anyway...
Akane was running in his direction with a mallet in her hands and her battle aura of righteous fury "RAAANMAAAA !!! HOW DARE YOU OPPOSE THE MASTER !?!"
Nodoka Saotome had her katana unsheated and was cirling him to cut his only way of escape "Daughter ! Listen to your mother ! You and your girls must surrender at once ! You will obey or be severely punished !"
Revulsion showed on Ranma's face at the fact that his own mother was adressing him as a girl. He almost let himself be distracted and narrowly dodged Akane's mallet. The direness of the situation, the consequences for him should he be captured and the fact his brain was now fully operational since his stint in a healing tank had made him realize that he couldn't afford to be taken out so easily.
Akane Tendo froze in stupor. Ranma had dodged her mallet strike. That was impossible... This couldn't be ! She always succeeded in bashing the pervert with that move !
"Forgive me, Akane..." muttered Ranma in a sad and forlorn voice. Akane squeaked. Ranma had appeared in front of her in a flash and burrowed his right fist in her gut. Akane doubled over in pain and collapsed on the floor "You... bastard..." She tried to get up but the pain was too much for her to handle. She was soon unconscious.
"RANKO !!! HOW COULD YOU !?" *swish !* *swish !* *swish !* *swish ! *swish !*
Ranma wildly dodged his mother's clumsy sword strikes. He realized she really didn't know how to use the katana. No wonder his good-for-nothing old man was scared of her... How many times had she nearly taken off one of his body parts with that thing ?
*THUNK !* Nodoka's jaw dropped to the floor and her eyes boggled. The Saotome's family blade, the physical symbol of the honor of the Saotome clan was now broken. Alita had parried Nodoka's latest strike with her damascus wrist blade, the old katana didn't stand a chance.
*WHAP !* Nodoka went night-night after Alita knocked her out "Are you all right, Ranma ?" asked the cyborg. Her master was looking uncomfortable. It had been his mother after all...
"Yeah, I'm fine..." Ataru would pay. Oh, yes, he would pay dearly for this. To send his loved ones against him... Ranma couldn't forgive such an act ! "Let's go help the others !"
Now with numerical superiority on team Ranma's side, the fight ended rapidly. Morrigan and Lillith fell to the combined power of the four outer senshi. With the steel angels and Ifurita teaming up with Brittany, Wonder Woman was eventually taken down "KIKO-SHOOOOO !!!" An explosion of chi later, Chun-Li stood victorious over Cammy White's body.
Ataru's strike team members were put into the reprogramming pods, sedated and locked up until they could be ready to imprint on someone else than Ataru. For now, Team Ranma resumed its attack on Ataru's camp.
