"No Great-Grandmama," replied Shampoo-in-Kodachi, "Things not go exactly right."
"Eh? What are you talking like my Shampoo child?"
"That is because she is your Shampoo," Nabiki-in-Ukyo told the Elder.
"Really? And why would that be?"
"Ranchan got a wish," Ukyo-in-Shampoo said, "He wanted to get the bunch of us to get along better."
"But the IDIOT got our minds all switched around," growled Akane-in-Kasumi.
Shying away from the image of an angry Kasumi, the Amazon Matriarch noticed something else. "Where did you get the dog, child?"
Kasumi-in-Nabiki smiled. "Akane-chan had this curse that made her a dog when she got angry."
"Only Kodachi got her body and the curse," Nabiki-in-Ukyo said, "She got back to being human when the change hit somehow, but when the shock wore off, she got angry at Ranma and, well..."
"Bark! Bark! Bark BARK!" ("I deigned to apologize to that oaf Hibiki, like any proper lady would, unlike that Akane, and I regained human form. But THIS is intolerable!")
"So, Son-In-Law, do you have anything to say for yourself?" Cologne asked.
Ranma laughed nervously. "Uh... Oops?"
"Ranma!"
"Ranchan!"
"Arien!"
"Grrr...Woof!" ("Ranma-darling!")
Shaking her head, Cologne turned away from the changed fiancees and looked at the chef's body, which was now sitting and leaning back in her seat. "Then why have you come to my resturant?"
Nabiki-in-Ukyo gave a tired smirk. "We need to change back. And we figure that our best bet is you. If you don't know how to do it yourself, you might know a way or person that can."
"You come seeking help then."
"Exactly."
