Lamp Of Mihoshi: A father figure that isn't [Episode 40107]

Ranma's life had been full of brief instances of magic interraction which is why his new reality only intensified that previous tendril connection. Ranma's life had also however contained a situation where he turned into a girl due to magic. Genma may not have been father to young Ranma in the new world he would find himself in soon, but being a girl had become established within his template.

Which is why Ranma still changed back and forth from a boy to a girl. This time it was not due to martial arts sparring over the springs however.

• Lina Inverse had attempted a spell to give herself a more womanly body (chest) that had horribly backfired turning her into a male. Lina-kun later became the father of Ranma but the inherited body-change magic is instable within him/her.
• Futaba or Futana.. their gender changes are an ancient magical curse upon the family. The (father) had become a mage in the hopes of one day curing the family. Now which gender does Ranma become when excited..
• One of the goddesses had been affected by a wish and becomes the proud father of little Ranma. Since Ranma is half mortal he won't be able to use his divine powers until his death, but in the meantime is taught earthly magic to train him for the eventual ascension. Of course having a goddess for a father has Ranma-chan making appearances whenever he runs low on energy.
• Jusenkyo still happened. This time around Ranma's single parent mother was teaching him magic and they were drawn to the high magical fields around the place. Both mother and son fell into the opposite gender's spring. Cold form father and daughter, hot form mother and son. Now is the mother Nodoka or some other woman? Did the real father die, disappear, or was so bad his wife left him (Genma perhaps..?)?
• In some other manner a female became the father of young Ranma and as a result Ranma's gender is in question.
