He also knew who was responsible for it all, the why, and what Ranma was thinking about doing just now. You see our concerned citizen shall we call him (at least until one of the other authors on this board decides to give him a name.) was a telepath. A fairly good one at that.
He walked up to Ranma and in a low calm voice said as to not scare him away said "Your Ranma Saotome are you not?"
Ranma looked up at the man half expecting him to atack him, and for the first time in a long time not caring if he did or not. He was dressed in a large brown trench coat, brown leather boots, and a large leather cap that concealed most of his face except his mouth and chin.
"Who wants to know?" he said. Not the nicest thing to say but he had just found out that the three people he had come to look upon as possible wives had just been using him for who knows how long. The man seemed to understand. "Just a concerned citizen." the man replied and he ment it. "You look like your whole world came crashing down around you and I just wondered if there was anything I could do to help."
"Sorry, I don't think you can help me much unless you can change history" said Ranma.
"I'm afraid that is a little out of even my league, but I can give you this, and some good advice." said the man. "Don't let the mistakes of the past close your heart or rule your future. Don't let anger and resentment bring you down to other peoples level, and live your life the way you want to and not by someone elses standard, not even your mother." With that he looked at his watch, nodded, pushed a leather duffle bag into Ranma's hands and stepped back. Ranma didn't have more than 10 seconds to look confused or reply before he faded away to begin his new life in a new time.
