White clouds in the sky over Jusenkyo appeared as if they were forming ripples in the heavens above. Ranma idly noted this as he and his father arrived at the cursed springs. This place isn’t so impressive. he thought.
Dropping his pack, he ignored the guide’s warnings about tragic legends, falling into dangerous water and thousands of years, and quickly followed his father onto a pole above one of the many pools.
Moving agilely, they fought in midair, and then Ranma knocked his father off balance. As the older man fell into one of the springs, the boy called out “Are we done already?”
Seconds later, a giant panda emerged from the water in his father’s clothes and glasses and knocked him off his own pole.
