Emperor Ranma of Mongo: Ukyo Rogers?? [Episode 40685]

by Ryoko

The doorbell rang, and Ukyo lifted her head from the account books she was working on. Was her delivery here already? She jumped up and ran to the door. Opening it, she saw what looked like a large ostrich, though it was more brightly colored, wearing a delivery cap that read “ACME” on it. The bird looked at her, opened its beak and said “meep meep.” She signed for the package as she seemed to feel that it was implying to her. Then, with a quick flick of its tongue, its hopped around and took off in a cloud of dust.

Ukyo looked at the ship that was now sitting in front of her shop. It was long, cigar shaped aluminum and had three big fins on it, reminiscent of a giant cadillac. It looked like it could fit somewhere between 4-6 people comfortably. She grinned, already planning on what she was going to name it, and went to the entrance hatch to see what was inside.

As Ukyo went over to the door, she pressed the button and a huge gangplank suddenly unfolded in front of her. She smiled and walked up it and into her new (used) ship. Looking around, she saw portholes along the sides, a viewscreen up front and more toward the reasr, but was immediately drawn to the control panel and the rows of bright shiny buttons. Intrigued, slightly daring, she reached out and pressed one. Immediately an arrogant, somewhat raspy voice began ranting something about “Duck Dodgers, in the 24th and a half century!”

Eyes wide, Ukyo vowed never to touch that button again.
