Emperor Ranma of Mongo: Never Leave Your Spaceship Unlocked [Episode 40937]

by S/Rohm

“GONE!?!”

“That’s right, Kuno.”  Nabiki counted her yen.  Kuno had paid well for this, so she would tell him the truth.  In a way.  “Your ‘pig-tailed girl’ was taken by the same aliens that grabbed Ranma.  Akane followed soon after.”

“GONE!?!”  The erstwhile samurai (accompanied by his faithful ninja servant) seemed in a state of shock.

“Yep.  Gone.  Vanished.  No longer here.  The loves of your life no longer walk this Earth.”

Although Nabiki might sound a bit callous over the fate of her sister, she wasn’t too worried.  The people who had sold her that ship had assured her that the auto-pilot would keep any passengers safe and that any idiot could instruct the computer to return.  Nabiki figured it would take Akane two or three days to calm down and figure that out.

“Ah!  The dastardly sorcerer has devised this fiendish plot so that he might pursue his foul agenda against Akane and the pig-tailed girl in a place where I am not there to defend them!  The coward!  I must find a means to go to their defense!”

“Funny you should say that.  I have something here you might just be interested in…”  Nabiki gestured toward the backyard.

Sasuke had breathed a sigh of relief.  He was sworn to serve the Kuno clan and would follw his young master anywhere, but that so-called spaceship hadn’t looked big enough to fit Kuno alone, much less two.  As he followed his master down the streets of Nerima, he wondered if this might finally convince Tatewaki to give up and return home.

“Zounds!” Kuno exclaimed. “Truly the gods favor my quest.”

Looking ahead, Sasuke saw an unlikely sight.  Parked in front of the Ucchan was what appeared to be an alien spacecraft.  He sighed.  At least this one was larger.

“Come, my faithful servant!  Follow me!”

----------------------------------------------------

Ukyo was sitting at the counter of her restaurant when from outside came a deafening roar. She immediately realized that it could only be the sound of her spaceship’s engines starting up.  Dropping the instruction manual (which she had barely started reading), she grabbed her battle spatula and ran outside with Konatsu following close behind.

They got outdoors just in time to see the ship take off.

And promptly crash, nose first, into the ground.

“Hey! That’s my spaceship you thief!”

Miraculously, the ship seemed unharmed by its crash and slowly righted itself, as if in preparation of a second attempt.  As it came to a rest, Ukyo noticed that the entrance hatch was still open.

Ukyo…
