"Who are you?" He asked, the young woman was shorter than him by a head.
She had blue eyes and long green hair tied up in a braid on one side. She was dressed in a pink and white maid's uniform, stockings and flats.
She smiled at him and said, "I'm Canal Vorefeed. The Sword Breaker's computer."
Ranma sweatdropped, "okay. So you are going to help me save all that's good in the universe?" She nodded, Ranma shrugged his shoulders and sighed.
"Bare with me, this is a little too much for me." She smiled kindly and rubbed his shoulder.
"It's alright, I'm sure you'll do a fine job Ranma."
He lifted his head and looked over, "so they told you my name?" "Yes, they did." "Well, I better get my crew together. Can't do anything with out them huh?"
They walked to the bridge, it was huge, it had two tiers. One where the crew runs the weapon systems and controls, the other was were the captian's chair and navagation were.
'Well if I'm going to get a crew, I'm going to have to figure out who I would want on it.'
He started to pace around the bridge as Canal was watching him. 'It has to be someone I can trust fully, someone who can trust me as well.'
Just then something hit him like one of Akane's mallet strikes.
"Of course, MOM!" He looked over to Canal.
"Can you do pick ups, Can Chan?" She girl in question looked at him and slowly nodded her head.
"Can you be able to find anyone on the planet?" "Yes sir." She blushed hotly at the pet name Ranma gave her.
Ranma smiled, "good. I want you to find and pick up. Nodoka Saotome." She smiled, happy to finally be used. "Yes sir!"
So she activated the ship's transporter and person search to get Ranma's mother on board the ship.
Meanwhile at the Saotome manor, Nodoka was about to eat her breakfast, she sighed as she thought about her son and what had happened over the wedding.
'My son, I am so sorry about what happened. I hope you can forgive me.' Just then there was a flash of light and a hologram appeared in front of her.
It was of a nice young girl and she was dressed in a maid's uniform. "Are you Nodoka Saotome?" It said.
"Yes, I am what can I do for you?" "Do you have a handsome son named Ranma?"
"Yes I do, who are you?" Canal blushed, "oh forgive me. I am Canal Vorfeed, I am the A.I. for the ship, 'Sword Breaker'." "Nice to meet you Vorfeed San, but what's this has to do with my son?"
She explains to Nodoka that Ranma had been chosen to save all that is good in the universe and he needed a crew she was the first person he thought of to help him.
Nodoka looked proud of her son and smiled. "So he wants me to be his first mate huh?" Canal nodded, "very well. I will help my son."
Canal was happy, bounced and clapped her hands. "Okay, then let's go." She said, Nodoka was about to go upstairs to get packed but Canal stopped her.
"I have enough clothes for you, so you won't have to pack." "Well, can I bring my kitana?" "Sure, I guess that would be alright."
So Nodoka was ready and Canal teleported her up to the ship.
Once there, she saw her son waiting to greet her. She went over to him and hugged him tighly.
"What made you choose me?" "Well Mom, you're someone I can trust. I'm also planning on bringing Kasumi on board."
"I would have to agree, with you on that." "Okay, let's go and get her then." He said.
