Kasumi was finishing with the breakfast dishes. She dried her hands off with a dish towel and went into the living room to start on cleaning it.
Just then like with Nodoka, there was a flash of light. Kasumi curious, looked over where the flash came from.
Just then she saw Canal standing in front of her. "Oh my," "Excuse me, but are you Kasumi Tendo?" Kasumi just nodded, "Do you know Ranma Saotome?" "He's my little sister's bethrothed." "I am Canal Vorfeed, the A.I. of the ship 'Sword Breaker'. Your little sister's bethrothed has chosen you to become a member of his crew."
Kasumi was confused, "crew?" Canal nodded. "Why me, why not Akane?" "Because he trusts you and you him. He needs a crew he can trust to do what he has to do." "What might that be?" "He has been chosen to fight for and protect all that is good in the universe." "Really? Then I guess I should help him then."
"Good, come let's go." "Wait, I need to get some clothes together and." "Don't worry, I have an extended wardrobe. So you won't need to take any clothes." "Well can I at least leave a note telling everyone that I'll be alright?" "Okay, go ahead but hurry up we need to go."
So, Kasumi leaves her note and then Canal teleports them to the ship.
Once on board, Kasumi sees Ranma and Nodoka. They greet her with hugs and kisses. "Welcome aboard, Kasumi." Said Ranma with a smile.
"Can Chan?" Canal looked over to Ranma with a blush, "show my mom and Kasumi to their rooms." "Yes sir, if you would follow me?" So they went to their rooms, they were huge. They had a huge picture window and it showed holograms of a nice day. Kasumi had a beach at sunset while Nodoka had a winter's day.
Nodoka was sitting down in a chair looking around the room. "Canal Chan?" Canal appeared in front of her as a hologram, "yes what is it Saotome San?"
"First off, call me 'Auntie' since you are going to be in my son's life now." "Very well, Auntie. What was it you needed?" "I was wondering if I could get some tea, please?" "Sure, Auntie." Canal looked at the table and a cup and saucer was on the table. The tea cup was full of the steaming liquid.
"Won't you visit with me?" So Canal sat down in the chair facing Nodoka and sat down. While they were talking, the real Canal was on the bridge with Ranma, they were talking about what to do next.
"So, do you think we should get someone else or just leave and look for our shipmates elsewhere?" He asked the computer girl. "I think it would be a good this if we left and went to another universe to get our shipmates." She said, pleased that he asked her opinion even though he was her owner now.
Ranma nodded, he was thinking about a manga he had read not to long ago. It was about a young woman who can change with just a flash and she had adapted to any situation. 'Now that's True Anything Goes.' He thought.
"Canal? Could you set the ship to go to Cutey Honey's universe?" He said, "yes sir." She said, so she did and the ship was about to take off. The ship opened up a warp zone and went right into it.
This was it, Ranma was leaving his universe and was heading for another one. 'I hope the others can behave while I'm gone.'
