"Yes, master." Xian Pu said as she headed out of the main hall, brushing past an entering Jadeite.
"Lord Claudus, there seems to be a problem with the army we are setting up to attack Bejing." he said as he presented a list of the troops. "I had reviewed the troop placement, and from what I saw the batallions were composed of nothing but our worst troops, people who would insult the term cannon fodder. Once more, you personally signed off on it."
"I know." Claudus said, relishing his litunant's shocked expression. "For I don't even plan on sending them to attack."
"Then why?"
"Have you ever heard of a human philospher named Sun Tzu? He wrote in 'The Art of War', that the first key to victory is deception, as well as knowing your enemy as well as yourself. From what I studied about the Senshi, Pluto has control of an artifact known as the Time Gates, correct?"
"Yes, it is a major thorn in our side given how she could know of our plans in advance..." Jadite trailed off as he realized where this was going.
"Precisely, yet from what I understand the Gates have a major flaw, primarly in how they show only the most likely future, rather than the possibablites. So, the question is how to defeat an enemy who knows what we are about to do. Simple, we create an instance where it would be impossible to ingnore in the temporal area, such as a nuclear appocaplise. I know perfectly that if we were to attack the Chinese capitol, they would retailate with a nuclear attack, and as such the other nuclear powers would launch untill the earth is nothing but a ball of ash. So, were such a vision would to cross the Gate..."
"It would force the Senshi to respond, namely by comming here to cut off the head of the snake." Jadite finished, smug with understanding.
"Exactly, and when they arrive, an entire legion of our best warriors, along with the very generals of Hell itself will be wating for them. And Pluto cannot stop it since wilfully manipulating the past could result in a fatal paradox. The fact we are still standing here demostrates that." Claudus said, noticing the look Jadeite's face. "You know something, what is it?"
"I remembered a powerful spell of the Silver Millennum, known as the Purification. The rite literally binds the souls of the world to the caster, while in return reshaping them to what they view as 'purified'." he said, noting the concerned look on his lord's face. "However, such a spell would require all the senshi and at the same time must be done without any outside influence, given how if someone was to interrupt the spell, they could manipulate it to their own will."
"And thus, become the archtects of their own demise. Such delicious irony. Inform our troops, I want the senshi's leader taken alive. If this succeedes, by the week's end all of creation shall bow before us." Claudus smirked along with his lietunant. Claudus at the thought of domination in one swift stroke and Jadite with his revenge, tourturing the senshi but keeping them alive long enough to witness their own plan turned aginst them, then killing them slowly while feasting on their entrails.
