"How did you know that?" Nohman was looking annoyed, Xero knew he hat hit soemthing important.
"I have my ways." Truth be told, Xero had no idea Nohman had been looking at that stuff. He just had a feeling... "Mind telling what you're up to?"
"Does godhood satisfy your inquiry?" Xero had no chance to reply as an explosion nearby brought his attention to the quickly approaching military forces. "Well, I guess that's my cue to exit." With a speed only werecats and martial artists possessed, Nohman knocked the gun out of Xero's hand and leapt to a nearby rooftop. He was quickly out of sight.
DAMMIT!!!" Looking down the road, Xero caught sight of a tank moving around the corner. Not thinking twice, he grabbed Ken, "Hold on tight." Using speed and power gained from his adventures, he quickly jumped onto a nearby roof, moving the opposite direction from Nohman, making a quick escape from the city. "I'm sorry, but your friends are on their own..."
Once safely outside the city, Xero set the slightly panicked werecat down, ignoring the puncture wounds where her claws had cut his skin. {Thank god for my protection... That's twice it's saved me today.}
"So.... What now?" Ken asked.
"I have some friends who might be able to help. Now we just need to get to Atlanta."
Reaching into the Vector Trap to retrieve his cell phone, he suddenly realized he had left the gun in the city, {Crap! Oh, well... I'll worry about it, later.} He dialed the number for the Diggers and was annoyed at getting no answer. "Crap... They must be out trying to deal with the situation, somehow..."
"You mean all we can do is sit and wait for until the situation goes out of control?! Who knows how many people will die?!"
".... There is another possibility, but they don't usually deal with this so they may not want to get involved, and-"
"We have to do SOMETHING!! My FRIENDS are getting caught up in this!!"
"-And we have no way to get to England, anyway."
Ken had no response to that.
"Of course, I'm not sure I want to face Alucard after losing the gun he loaned me, anyway..."
